the problem here is, he himself does not know what is he doing and whatever he said pyaar nahi karta, I love u r tears, made you happy etc, it shows his internal struggle that he wants to give her all these but fail to do so there fore he is behaving like this, what he does not know is in order to prevent her he is hurting her more unknowingly

Yes tis is character consistency... but this tim ard there is mor to it thn character and boiling anger..unlik other .. whn anger wud take charge of his thinking cap.. tis tim.. he knew wht he was saying b4 he did... tis tim ard he tot b4 he leaped.... he wanted her to hate him for wht he said... n not persist.. he wanted her to stop trying... coz with her trying he was finding it harder to stay away...
