Which is why it's fitting that Darji came...he was after all the root cause of Geet's problems, including his upbringing of Brij.
So by coming to the wedding and abjectly repenting for his deeds, gave complete justication to Geet's actions. He realised that she was right all along and he was wrong.
The only issue I have with the Cvs is that since Darji came, the rest of the family should have come too, especially the parents.....even if they had to bring in new faces.

Except, wouldn't that have been a stronger storyline and made more of an impact. As I said before, Darji lost all his standing and power. It's not so off for them to be less afraid of him. And the fact that their daughter is going to get married to a rich business tycoon--that would probably give them more courage.

The next argument would be, yes Darji lost his standing and power and is now a weak old man--thus it's natural for him to re-evaluate his stance and be more easily persuaded.

To that I say, 😡🤢😡

I'm sorry for not letting this go and commenting again. But the more I think about it, the more incensed I get. And what galls me is that it has been accepted by the audience.

Geet loves her family, and so she forgives. And now comes the next question.

What if Maan were to forgive Dev? After all, that's his brother. And he really loved (and maybe still loves) him. It should be fine and well, no? Maybe he can convince Geet to forgive Dev, too.**

But no one wants to take that path, or think about that.

**This will never happen as Maan himself said he would never let Geet forgive Dev. But just a case of what if here. Would the audience accept it? Then why are they accepting this crap?

likarsh - Unfortunately, it is a lost battle. 😭 We can shout all we want. The damage is already done and CVs are not going to undo it.

But - yeah. I feel strongly about it. So, my tiny-winy protest was done in the form of not watching the episode. Yeah - me, who used to frustrate my family and friends by watching repeats on TV, youtube, star player everywhere - did not watch Maneet wedding episode! Nor I will in future. At least makes me feel better. I could not have withstood the emotional blackmail.
