@Abina - They decided which member to get based on the actor's availability I guess. But I would have preferred if they had brought her parents with changed actors, rather than Daarji.

Its disappointing to see that most people have bought the emotional blackmail 😭

After reading the updates I am not even watching today's episode, because the Maneet moment highlight seems to be Daarji drama and who wants to watch Arjun-Annie anyway.

This serial will set a record of criminal redemptions with "I am sorry".

Me too am against it all...I'm not saying not to forgive him ...but giving him the honor & respect to do the Kanyadaan...he does not deserve it ....

likarsh Of course they are not going to take the trouble of seeing his true redemption, which would have come only if he had turned himself in. They have thrown an emotional blackmail at the audience, which the audience is lapping up. So, who cares about the message!

I did not watch today's episode, nor do I plan to. I will watch from monday onwards, assuming Daarji never happened.

I completely agree with you. Why Darji was brought in the first place. Ok even if he was brought Geet's parents also should have come. Geet's parents should have done the kanyadan than Darji. It's a serial that why Darji is on redemption path otherwise in reality old people (read Khaps) are more stubborn & stuffed with stereotypical ideas which are to be imposed upon the weaker section of the society.

Totally agree with the topic started!!
Daarji is just not the person to sit for Kanyadaan!!
The only people I feel would have been apt.. would be
- Manchanda
- Rajji/ Tito
- Gurvinder
Not even her parents... The above are the only people who stood by her, believing in her..

I guess Daarji's entry was only to create a suspense in the Friday's episode end.. Or unless the CVs have planned some more negativity with Daarji.. post the wedding!!..
Daarji thinking:.. Hmmm ek baar Geet ki shaadi ho jaye... toh mai Geet ke saath saath.. poore Khurana Khandaan ki izzat nilaam kar dunga.. (Ek teer se do shikaar types....)

Like you said, Geet's parents are spineless and wouldn't dare to make a move towards her without Darji's permission.

They would never have come to the wedding despite Maan's pleading.

Which is why it's fitting that Darji came...he was after all the root cause of Geet's problems, including his upbringing of Brij.

So by coming to the wedding and abjectly repenting for his deeds, gave complete justication to Geet's actions. He realised that she was right all along and he was wrong.

The only issue I have with the Cvs is that since Darji came, the rest of the family should have come too, especially the parents.....even if they had to bring in new faces.

So he is the biggest villain and simply by shedding a few tears, he gets redemption. I will take his apology seriously, if he turns himself in for attempt to murder. But of course, CVs are not going to take that trouble, because audience has more than accepted the emotional blackmail. They are actually praising it!
