Vini, I'm afraid I'm not good in the sarcy dept and I really thought he was putting his hand behind to take something out like a magician springing up a surprise. Now that you mention this, may be you are right and he was only enjoying the impact he was having on her.

And yes Wino, the bending down of head was way too cute. I loved the whole Jai mala exchanging scene. It was shot perfectly. Had no dialogues going on for quite long but came off wonderfully still.
