Today before epi starts Gouri di said that if Dev die anyhow, Maaneet can't get married within 13 days because Dev is family member. so Geeting married withing 12 days is breaking a ritual. So the Article may be indicating that ritual of MSK marrying within 12 days

In our community if there is a death of someone on the father's side, you can get a girl from the family married after like 13 days or something - since they believe that kanyadaan is good for the departed soul. But for a boy from the same family to get married, you have to wait a year. 😕
