Gargi, unlike most shows, this one had a rock solid script with enough characters to play around. I dont see the need to bring in new ones without settling the ole ones. Why bring in a 'sis' when they had already mentioned a bro? They could have well brought in Vicky and spun a yarn about where he was and what he did all this while. They could have given us some background about Maan's parents. Now that he is on the verge of getting married they could have shown either Maan or Dadi go into flashback mode and recollect them. In the process they could have introduced at least two new characters (Maan's parents) if for more (i.e, if one of them was having an affair. They could have shown what was happening back in HP as news of Maan's wedding could have traveled there. We could have seen Geet's family's reaction to it.


Pressures associated with a six-day week could have been handled in a dozen different ways and they pick the worst way to handle it? Did they think that adding a 'youthful' character will attract the youth? Nikunj looks like a dadhi herself, forget looking youthful. She is neither pleasing to the eye nor the ear. So unless there is some under handed dealings I fail to see why she is around. No wonder the PH and Channel kept her arrival under wraps till they sprung her on us. All other entries so far were known at least on the day they were to enter or even before. MAybe they knew the girl is not popular. Hope we dont have to see too many scenes of her. I'd rather see more of Deveera than this girl.
