8. "Daddy"

He is torn between the defiance he sees in his daughter's eyes and the stubbornness in his father's. He holds his crying wife's hand helplessly when his family decides fate of his daughter. A scream from his throat fails to find his voice and remains buried inside.

Do daughters always remain daddy's little girls?

Choice was exceptional. I'm glad I didn't recall the scene at once - cause I haven't seen all episodes from that time of the show with remote amount of diligence - only glanced through uploaded youtube scenes/vms here and there...

so when i viewed this one, it was independent of its background, and hence the space for me to form an entirely new picture. The mention of tumeric set me off along another tangent, and yet an almost slap, in another way, came back to the same choice that it actually was - everything goes round in circles!

btw, 8AM and you sit online making posts - your boss is such a sweetheart 😆

ps: I'm glad u posted on CS - and its silly but I opened the page three times and then decided to save it up for later - I have no clue why! 😲😆

good day sookie san!

Who said I am at work? 😆 Cycled for 11 Kms and a ran for 5 Kms. Just came back... 😆 Oh yeah, this comment is totally unnecessary but am simply showing off that I am trying to stay fit here... 😆

Now I realize that I totally forgot to write about your actual comment on post :D

Its one of those early episodes which had good writing and decent camera work. Its a good episode and the scenes leading to the almost slap was kind of nice. So wrote it :-)

Good day to you too SC! :-)

These 54 words take 30 minutes to be shown on TV. Well, you again did it.
By the way, I came online and you did not. Still on the way?

Loved it, Sookie!😊

I'd always felt for Geet's dad.. he was weak man but always wished to see his daughter happy like any other father... and like you said, he was stuck between his father and daughter.

Whoa Sookie depicted Geet's father's plight and helplessness beautifully,
I always saw him in the good light...though he could not save her daughter from the wrath that Geet's bro and darji inflicted on her....he did try to protest
guess he din have the guts to go against his father....but his love for his daughter was also too much to measure.

yet I've always liked his character portrayal...and glad you showed him in a positive light.

Great going with the 55 words...seem small but leave a deep impact !
