I loved the episode. I thought it was the best episode of the week.

I loved how caring Maan was with Geet. Geet was in shock after the near death experience and the khoon bhari maang incident, and she needed care and reassurance. Maan gave her just that. If you thought they lacked passion, you are absolutely right; it was intended that way. The interactions were not supposed to be passionate but caring and gentle.

I loved the subtleties about the episode, the way Geet was sitting next to the window, as if she was unsure what to do, it was brilliant. Maan walks and in and is a bit surprised that she is sitting on the floor. I loved the simultaneous self-thoughts of Geet questioning why Maan is doing this and Maan thinking he wanted to do this for a long time. Geet asks Maan do you ever think about yourself, because you do everything for me and only me. Maan doesn't say anything but leads Geet to the bed because she needs rest. Once she is on the bed she places her arms over her knees. It was a subtle gesture but it spoke volumes. It was a defensive move, she was protecting herself. Maan read her mind perfectly and grabs the cover for her. Once she is comfortable and tucked under "their" blanket, he breaks the silence. He wanted to Geet to have no doubt in her mind as to why he married her. Yes he filled her maang at the heat of the moment, but he did something he had wanted to do for a long time. I loved that he said he is still her Dhust Dhanav and he is selfish. He didn't marry her for her but for himself, because he needs her in his life. "Pehle tum meri aadat thi, Ab tum meri zaroorat ho" line was brilliant! Barry please take bow! This one line said so much. Not only Maan finally admitted he needs her but also, the dialogue in HP about Geet being a habit came full circle. I absolutely loved it.

I loved the hug! It was a natural reaction by Geet in response to what Maan said. But the hug had some major editing issues. In one shot Maan's right hand was on the bed the next it was on her back. The kisses I thought had skin contact BUT the camera angles and editing made them look like air kisses. Nonetheless, I found the kisses appropriate for the given situation. Maan was not trying to seduce Geet, he is merely trying to comfort her and give her much needed reassurance.

In regards to acting I thought both GC and DD were brilliant in their performances. DD had very little dialogue but her eyes spoke volumes. She has truly grown as an actor in the past months. GC was great portraying the Gentle side of Maan. He had to portray the tone down version of the larger than life Maan Singh Khurana and he did it so effortlessly. I think it's these subtle emotions that are hard to express and GC did a very good job.

The Precap: I loved it. Geet looked like she was in heaven cuddled up to him. Maan was sitting in such an uncomfortable position but I bet he would sit like that forever if that meant Geet felt safe and cared for.

Overall: Brilliant episode with excellent dialogue, acting and execution. Editing could have been better but nonetheless the episode was excellent. 9.5/10
