My Take for today ....

Nissar, Swati, Maan Singh, Barry and entire team of GSHP- standing ovation to you for a mind blowing episode!

GC & DD – Brilliant! Today GC won the race ..(he was too good to switch the expression from passionate lover to a angry business man.)

What a twist – "Pindi and Naintaaree friendship"…I still feel Pindi is brought by MSK so maybe Pindi is a double agent working for MSK…..how optimist I am? Lol

MSK back to his stalking mode; MSK &Geet- sweet moments; loved to see the clash between male & female actors which are rare and both MSK &NT compliment each other in rivalry!

Over all very happy with the episode but bit confused….yesterday Maneet talked about "waaris" and today NT said hamesha hamesha ki liye……so I want to address this issue of baby track..


Baby Track—our lil baby "Amani"

As have been seeing lots of request from the fans to end the baby track and I also understand the pressure for you all. Seeing the demographics of the viewers on your FB it is not a surprise as…..

81% are women viewers…… Women of all age's desire romance…I do all the time!

Out of which
• 32% are between 13- 17; so they are still on M&B dream land or for them the idea of romance is all they can think of and for them baby is a burden!
• 44% are between 18-24- have experienced love & romance but yet have no responsibility!
• 3.9% is between 25-35- probably this population wants to see the baby as most of them are mothers or wanting to be mothers soon!

So there is no surprise that viewers want to see romance and only romance (no baby track)…… there is absolutely no doubt that you are dealing with a true teen phenomenon. For the young viewers romance during pregnancy seems oxymoronic!

So if you end the baby track it is good for your business plan leading to good profits. But I just want to reinforce that most of us got hooked to "Geet" not because of romance but the story line. So far you have addressed the social issues of fake marriage, teen pregnancy, and honor killing, so I have a hope that you will continue this track.

Baby track will also do well to your 76% of your young female viewers as you can create awareness among that group that romance leads to love to pregnancy, message that romance leading to sex or love making is something to think about?

Total of your fan base is 75,500 out of which 64,602 are from countries in Asia which is 85.5% where the issue of sexual education and teen pregnancy is always questioned and never delivered and you can address this message to this population.

Enlightening a teenager is the best preventive policy to tackle the growing health & pregnancy problems in this age group. They need to understand very early that "it is better to be safe than sorry."

If you carry on the baby track you can give a social message that for a pregnant mother (Geet)
1 There's always something to worry about.
2. Geet & MSK worrying about the health of the baby.
3 Geet & MSK worry about what she should or shouldn't do (because she is worried about the health of the baby).
4Geet worrying about the delivery.
5.Geet worrying about paying for everything a child needs. (Even MSK is there but Geet has self esteem)
6. Geet worrying about finding good childcare. (as she has to go to work or decided to sturdy further)
7.Geet worrying about whether she'll be a good parent.

Creating awareness will help young viewers appreciate the negative impact of teenage pregnancy on their education, and consequently on their future, so that they would take necessary steps to avoid it.

Please also clear this myth that "Pregnancy leads to no romance"

Romance during pregnancy is not only possible but necessary, so if you continue the baby track it helps you:

1. You will have many ideas to continue romance between the Maaneet (if you need we can provide hundreds of them)
2. People will be hooked as they will get new dose of romance (otherwise you'll be just stuck with eye locks and hand holding office romance)
3. It will create awareness...too!

So please think about it!

Here is the first installment of my take. Sorry about the length.

Another sweet episode. While yesterday we saw Geet admit she needs him, today we saw Maan admit that he needs her.

When Pindi Queen decides to have Geet work for her project with her, Maan refuses to oblige asking what he will do without her. He then elaborates that without Geet the company cannot be run for she takes care of everything by herself. Finally Geet got the well deserved appreciation from her boss, who acknowledged to his client that she was indispensible to him and his company and too in front of his staff, particularly Sasha and Tasha. This sure pleased Geet for it helped to boost her self esteem. After all she had always wanted to be recognized for her work and here he was doing just that. By saying that she does all the work by herself, he also indirectly admitted that she does not need his help to survive.

Seeing Pindi's adamancy in having Geet work for her, Geet agrees to do so along with her regular office work. One can see Maan's concern here for he does not want Geet to overwork in her condition but Geet's non-verbal assurance silences him.

We see a professional Geet dishing out instructions to her two lieutenants, Pandey and Manisha, before Maan comes there and shoos them off with just his 'aankhon ka isshara'. Not noticing them gone and assuming the entrant is Pinki, Geet asks her to give the file and stretches her hand to receive it. Maan notices the locket tied to her wrist and recollects the scene from the archives room. By the way, this flashback seems more elaborate than the earlier one and is definitely a blooper for it shows that Maan saw the ring slipping from Geet's hand whereas in the earlier scene they showed that Geet had hidden the ring under some papers as soon as she saw Maan enter the room. When the papers got strewn around because of the breeze, the ring was visible to Maan when he held her as she fainted.

He sweetly places his hand on hers, prompting her to turn her attention away from the call she was attending. She gets up in surprise and gets lost in his look till he turns his attention to the locket tied to her wrist. She tries to stop him from opening it but he removes her hand and proceeds to unearth the treasure within.

For those who felt Maan's bedroom eyes from earlier episodes were missing I would say that it was only to be expected. Earlier there was a strong physical attraction he felt for Geet and it was reflected in the lustful looks he was giving her. Now that he loves her, his eyes has to convey much more than lust and that is what they are conveying. There is softness and tenderness in his gaze as he takes out the ring from the locket and gentle states that inspite of fighting with him, she has bound his memories to herself. She may speak bombastic words before him but when alone, she sees her ring and thinks of him. He then could not resist teasing her, saying that it is not her fault since it is the magic of Maan Singh Khurana.

As expected she retorts that yes, a magician indeed he is, but does not care that she has kept his ring safe. Why would he care, because he has kept himself away from her. She then accuses him of even removing her Taabeez. Maan listens to all this but does not say anything, irritating her further but his eyes were speaking volumes. The way they caressed her as he seductively loosened his tie and came closer to her, ufff.

Understandably kuddi got nervous and backed off, wondering aloud what he was up to. When he said that he was doing what he has to do, she got even more nervous, thinking he may just ravish her then and there. She keeps asking him what he wants to do even as he starts to unbutton his shirt. His reply that he was waiting for this opportunity only seemed to reaffirm her fears and she asks him to stop. Finally when he pulled out her Taabeez and tells her that he wanted to show it to her, there is a sense of relief and joy on her face as she reverently holds the Taabeez in her hand.

She then tells him that although on the surface he kept showing his anger and troubled her all day but in the heart of hearts, he was thinking of her. She asks for a confirmation which he does not give but instead tells her that the ring should be in the place it should be. She slips the Tabeez back into his shirt saying that this also should be in the place it should be and she places her hand on his chest, across his heart. He covers her hand with his and kisses her with his eyes. He then proceeds to slip the ring gently into her finger while remembering the first time he did it. She, in turn, holds him as he does this, and they look at each other lovingly, lost in each other's gaze till they are interrupted by Pinki. Their embarrassed looks were a dead giveaway and suggested that they were up to something more than what they actually did. Before he left though, Maan gave Geet a look which seemed to say, 'Don't worry I'll be back for more'.

All that analysis of the first two scenes has made me quite tired so I'll close here for now and yes like Maan, I'll be back for more later.
