For TRP's in India....wouldn't it be more logical to find these 8,000 sample homes....fitted with the ratings equipment.... and ask them to tune in at 8.25pm for 5 minutes....then they can go back to viewing their regular shows after 8.32pm or so.... 😆😆😆

Joking aside...The TRP system in India is so totally crap and inequitable (8,000 homes...I actually thought it was between 28,000 - 30,000....don't know why...but I must have read it somewhere.....in 4 cities) 🤣 that it is hard to believe that sponsors and advertisers give it any credibility.

I do notice that Star Plus promotes its shows on Star One....but Star One does not promote its shows on Star Plus. Being Sister Channels...could they not come to some agreement between themselves to promote...say 4 shows on like for like time slots....without charging each other. After all...it is to both channels advantage to make sure they both survive because they target different audiences and therefore are not really in competition with each other. Star Plus has a much larger audience and is likely to attract new viewers for Star One.

Its a shame the TRP's don't take into account overseas viewers....because we also contribute to the channels coffers by paying hefty subscriptions and watching their overseas ads.

BTW - Star One seriously needs to take advantage of the fact that they have a large number of younger tv and online overseas viewers. A large section of this audience are younger viewers who may not be fluent in hindi...or are not indian at all.....but would still watch...or would like to watch...their shows. My 16 year old niece can't understand a word of hindi...and drives me crazy by asking for a translation of the dialogues when we watch Geet. Similarly...I have a few non-indian friends who watch the show...and are always asking for dialogue translations as well. They should consider adding subtitles to their shows if they want to increase their viewership overseas.

Also encourage Star One to upload the episodes immediately onto StarPlayer and market promptly to their online viewers, so they don't loose customers to unofficial uploaders.

I agree with this point....but I think one of the reasons they don't do this...is because they want people to watch the epis on tv for the ads that are aired in the middle of the epis.

One way to solve this problem is to upload the ads as well....so at least they capture the online viewers...in India at least. Overseas viewers would just have to ignore these ads...or go make a cup of tea...as they do here in the U.K when an ad gets shoved in the middle of epis. 😆😆😆

Yes Geetians and Maanetians its time to get to work!! Lets get our favorite show to the top, because it certainly deserves it!! Geet is a show of quality/ They have given us many brilliant episodes since April 5th, and we should help them out just for that fact. Many of us have come to love this show to a great extent and we would love to keep seeing Maaneet do their magic on our screens, for that to happen we must keep the TRP's running. Otherwise the show will get axed. Anjana and Arwen has given us many ideas and ways to help...pick out which ever one is most convenient for you. Give a few moments of your time for the show that has given you many wonderful moments to remember.

Remember higher TRP's = Maaneet on our TV's for many more months to come! 😍

Encourage your friends and family members to watch Geet. I'm sure you can use the ever handsome Maan Singh Khurana as bait for your friends😉, or the Geet Sherni as an inspiration for your friends who are in to female empowerment. 👍🏼 Show them those beautiful Maaneet scenes and hook them to their TV sets!

For Geet fans who live abroad, you can always encourage your relatives who live in India, as well as use all the contacts provided by Anjana. We can all do something for our show.

Don't forget to tune your TV's to Star One 5 minutes before the show begins at 9:30 PM and you can always turn you TV off after a few minutes when the show begins. 😊
