The TRPs are down because the Geet serial is losing its hold on the audiences.

The writers are changing the main character Geet.

Geet was a simple, honest, beautiful, respectul, highly intelligent and compasionate girl who stood up for what was right.

Now the Geet being potrayed by the Writers is a rude, lying, (example she lies to Maan about the breakfast saying she ate it all) selfish and arrogant person.

The audiences who held this show in high esteem because of the ideals it potryed are losing interest.

In UK the television showz do not have TRPs they have something called BARB rating.. which is calculated by each channel and tells u how many people are viewing a particular show... but again this is not the most reliable way to calculate the viewship of a show cos when the BARB rating are measured say at 9.45pm for a show (eg who wants to be a millionaire) which comes on say BBC1.. now if I am surfing channels at the time and if I happen to go on to BBC1 at 9.45 even for a fraction of a second... the channel will record it as I am viewing Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, whereas I was just skimming through.

Therefore, in UK all the medium, to large size companies and all the multi-nationals dont put their adverts on basis of BARB rating or TRPs... they do their own surverys to find out the most popular shows...
