@ MM it's quite simple, who does Maan love most in the world before geet came, his Daadi

so Maan fall in love with Ba as she reminded him of his Daadi,her age, her hair colour, her poor health, they way she walked, her wisdom, the wrinkles etc etc

Daadi loved Ba too as she saw herself in Ba, they were like soulies always dressed in saris, they took the same meds, Ba was very religious always doing her jaap with her beads, she believed in keeping the family togeher ie she was the perfect bahu
