Shali why should the child be a crime or a mistake? This is the very thing I detest, the child being branded for the sin committed by a parent. This is the reason why I wanted this show to be different. To show that a man can accept a child that is not his, whole heartedly, not because he has to atone for his brother's deed. So what if he accepts the baby because it is Geet's? He loves all of her and the baby is a part of her. When the child arrives, he will fall in love with it for its own sake and not for the sake of the mother.


As to whether it is right to bring the child into this world of troubles, tell me which world does not have troubles? Can we foresee everything in life in advance? A child may be brought into the world by two loving people. They may later fall out of love and decide to separate. Is it right to subject the child to a life where it has to choose between one or the other parent? A child which is born out of wedlock may have a hard life but who knows it could become the president of a country tomorrow. Can we always play God and decide in advance what is good and what is not good for the child?
