just read ur post...n i m missing kashish's pov alot today....on this slap..

coming to ur thoughts..

i will say geet went to meet maan coz she knew whtever maan is doing he is hurting himself more than geet..n she didnt want to see tht...

maan is the only saviour of geet..agreed...

more than geet i m more disappointed by the CV'S n THE WRITERS here..

they have ruined maan' character with this act..

thts not shade of maan's character at all..

as far as i have observed...maan is a person who always kept his emotions n feelings within himself....never let anybody to see inside him..

he never ever misbehaved with any women at all...except nantara..coz she deserves tht...

maan could not mishandle his LOVE LIFE GEET like this...never ever....

for me it was shocking tht is tht really maan who is doing this..

he can hurt himself but never anyone else in his pain n anger...

he is hurt,he is angry...agreed...but he cant do all tht..

jis ko aap chahte hain ...us ne aapse bura kiya

to aap bhi gir kar bura nahi karte...

u should remain ur self....

thts my thinking...i felt like the slap was a WAKE UP CALL for maan

which was going through between them

I was appalled to see this post and took the trouble of reading it through but don't have the energy to refute every thing you said here although I could. So I am posting what I did in the den. This basically summarises what the problem between these two is. Decide who is at fault.

His problem with her:

1.She rejected his proposal, that too in front of the people to whom he was proclaiming that she would be his better half and equal partner just a few moments back - No one rejects him. Only he has the right to accept or reject.

2.She failed to trust him even after all that he has done for her - No one dared to question his intentions and his integrity.

3.She challenged that she can live without his support - No one dared to challenge Maan Singh Khurana.

4.She has the audacity to say that her presence or absence matters to him as he is affected by her - No one can affect Maan against his will. He is invincible and infallible.

5.She tries to walk away, pretending she is unaffected by his elaborate act to bring her to her knees in jealousy - No one walks away without acknowledging their defeat.

Her problem with him:

1.He has put his family before her - He has done exactly what he accused her of doing back in HP (that of protecting her family)

2.He made her feel used - He was the one who asked to her stand up against people who try to use her and be independent. She was doing exactly that - voicing her intolerance to being taken advantage of.

3.He made her feel small and inadequate by listing all that he has done for her; his mentioning that he accepted her despite her pregnancy really drove the dagger in her heart. - He was the one who told her that her past did not matter and that his happiness lay in hers and yet he brought it up to exalt himself.

4.He was vindictive and unfair at work when he tried to prove she cannot survive without him - After building her self confidence she least expected him to undermine her.

5.He stooped low and resorted to cheap tactics to prove she needs him and not the other way around - She could not bear to see his fall from grace.

To add a few more thoughts:

Maaneet relationship as it stands is unhealthy.

Geet mostly ends up feeling inadequate or unworthy when she is with him for he was Oh-so-perfect. He never once dispelled this notion in her. In her helplessness lay his strength. She made him feel good about himself. He wanted that adulation. He craved for the attention but this is not love.

Yes, Maan has enriched Geet's personality, both unintentionally and intentionally. Geet never failed to acknowledge Maan's contribution to her life. But she craves for her own identity too. For her, self respect is paramount. Maan seemed oblivious to this need of hers for he was busy catering to her basic need of survival.

Geet has enriched Maan's personality too. She has taught him to live life to the fullest, to take pleasure in small things. She has taught him to smile again but he has so far not openly acknowledged to her how much she has transformed his life. He has not made her feel as revered as she made him feel.

Until he learns to respect her he cannot claim to love her.

Maaneet relationship as it stands is unhealthy.

Sorry darling my post disappointed you...Now U can't tell me that I did'nt warn you.....U did not read it completely and made the opinion....but I read through your entire POV.....But this post is stale now....so there is no point in discussing it.....today's episode must have been another shocker for U.....Anyways why are we bashing our heads dear when Cvs are having fun....

pearl dear m back........really u have written is very nicely..........what i cant digest is if geet does something den people have 1000000000 of excuses and if maan does 1 or 2 mistakes den he becomes a monster........

people were demanding a slap jaise bachche festival ke time per crackers, sweets n all mangte hai..........

even today people think dat coz of dat slap maan came bck to his senses........is it???? till date whenever he made mistake he said sorry to geet.....

i really loved each and every word of ur post...........geet can behave d way she wants bt maan has to behave like a saint........i dont get dis.........and today also people want him to stay vd geet........coz she is alone, who will help her, NT might hurt her and dev is at meera's place..........wht to say yaar..........m really upset today and feeling bad for maan.........waiting for ur next post.........if possible PM me...........
