See ...I am not for Team Geet or Team Maan ...actually that seems pretty lame and takes away from our characters.

What I am trying to say is ,I am favoring Geet cuz of the circumstances shown so far....Maan has been characterized in such a way that hes ruthless and jumps at self-preservation the least chance her gets....

but after the beautiful confession they had, the way he understands her eyes , her plight, the way he proclaimed her to be his life....this sudden HATRED seems extreme and uncharacteristic.

True, he may be hurt, but why go back to silly antica like giving up coffee, wanting Nakul to chhange the curtains....all of a sudden he wants to have nothing to do with her and is still stalking her life , making her miserable.....isnt a pregnant woman supposed to be happy and carefree...how is constant tension and taunting going to help her......

I dont understand the EXTREME reaction, how did that come all of a sudden.....

I love Maan like crazy...but right now hes being a wilful child. Someone needs to do a bit of scolding.

NO she isnt....Canya imagine how freaked out she must be wen she saw Dev out and about!! That is why she needed reassurance from Maan, but he didnt comply...she was in vulnerable state of mind, in shock!

What are you talking about! She not just trying to 'prove herself right'! its not just that! shes trying to be independent--> as in not dependent on anyone! and yeah...she was given a job, but for wtever reason ADI had found her a suitable candidate for the job and Maan had accepted..not because he was feeling magnanimous...
once agin with Yash, he gave her that position cuz he wanted her to mind his kids.....wt bout Maan! making the peon a CEO....as far as jobs and positions go..lets not discuss....the CVs have made a bloody joke out of it anyway😆

When there were some of us who used to say that we'd be ok if Geet forgave Dev, people jumped saying Dev can neva be forgiven. That what he did deserves NO MERCY! That GEET will never be able to get back what she lost. That the pain will ALWAYS be there, and that her entire life will bear the brunt , the pain , the consequence of Dev's despicable behavior.

SO how is it that Maan becomes the greater victim! That wen Maan and Geet are compared, Maan comes out as the bigger victim than Geet just cuz he was a bystander and geet is the victim!

Till yesterday I was still giving him a chance but now.....what is he cribbing about really?!

-- from day1 he has misunderstood her, made assumptions, been amazingly rude and callous
-- listened to half truth and formed an opinion
-- always been vile and spiteful when he was angry and said some unforgivable things.always.(like wen he said shea after his money, then reference to her violent family, hanky comment )

-- always on a mission to prove himself right.(remember mission Geet where he wanted her to confess)
-- If he let her keep working for him ,it was because of what he felt for her! Why shud geet be GRATEFUL for what he couldnt help doing because of his feelings for her?!
-- and now, when ONCE she wanted an actual reassaurance his ego came uo and he couldnt answer that!! really for someone who he claims to be his life!
-- he says he stood by her even wen his family has been stigmatized--well thats cuz the perpetrator is in your family genius! thats cuz you WANT to stand for TRUTH and HONESTY.
-- I dont even want to rant right now about his stance on her independence , his taking over of her company and the subsequent unforgivable treatment of her!

And now, he sulking, hes morose, ...if you are that reserved then why even show your hurt in front of anyone!! WHy let know through your actions that you are hurt!

Oh I love you . Thank you for the post . Quite frankly , i am tired of seeing his "Angry , agrressive , egoistic " avtaar. I fell in love with the character for the very same traits and im afraid they might be the reason I start disliking him too. Why ? Because I feel it is largely unjustified. I would much rather he use this aggression and anger on NT now that shes out of jail .(Remember your promise to NT that you will not spare her if she is the reason for Geet's tears. )

What happened in last friday's episode was very bad , from both the sides . Both were wrong ! I will not get into debating who was more wrong as that topic has been beaten to death and also because since both were so angry maybe... perhaps one can ignore their harsh words as they were said in anger . But a week has passed , Geet is trying to live again ...Most people might think that MSK 's love is greater as hes the one whos stalking her and cannot get her out of her mind . But it is important to see it from Geet's perspective . She cannot afford to sulk like MSK. She has to try and move on for the sake of her child . She will not sit in a dark room and do Tai Chi like him nor will she spew venom unnecessarily like MSK (Sorry , seems that is exactly what he is doing these days).

I am getting tired of the way he is humiliating her all the time , calling her worthless , demoting her for the dumbest of reasons (and in that process robbing her off of the opportunity that Geet has to make a living for herself and her child. That was VERY MEAN ! What if Geet has "committed another mistake" . Would he have demoted her to a peon? ) Making her do all sorts of physical work knowing her condition , torturing her mentally with his harsh words which btw cannot be good for her and the baby. (Is he the same guy who booked the entire ward for her? ). MSK's OMG "Hes so hot" fans will defend his actions saying hes doing so because hes madly in love with her and hes hurt . You cannot do insane things and get away in the garb of "hurt" . Both are hurt and both feel betrayed . It does not justify your actions.

Part in Bold red - This was the first thought that came to my mind the moment that Maan said this to Geet. Oh how i wish she had thrown it in his face. His family was humiliated in the media because of his own brother's kartoot and NOT because he sided with Geet ! If truth matters to him as much as he claims that he does that it should not even be brought up.

I really hope he looks beyond his ego now , High time !

you said it right...even I love him for his aggression his violence in thought, intensity, but lately that is what it has become-- unjustified!

and yeh...his tai-chi , his venom , do actually look a luxury, a comfort he can so afford, while she has to go by living inspite of everything...

CVs give us back our Maan Singh Khurana, the one we started with , fell in love with.. not this angry egomaniacal clone.

AGREED! Maan needs to not only grow up but stop being such a chauvinistic pig! Why is he hell bent on making her admit that she needs him, and why is he following in her own grandfather's footsteps to control her? That may sound harsh but if you think about it she was brought up in a family where she was not allowed to be independent. She was effectively like a piece of property that would transfer from her father's hands to her husband, so why on earth is he trying to keep her under his thumb???

You don't try to control the people you love and you certainly don't treat them like that. His ego and pride is blinding him but then again he never really did listen to the truth did he now?

Another thing I don't get is how did he change so much? In the beginning when he didn't fancy her, he was always preaching that woman should be independent, should not cry but should fight, should listen to all the facts before making judgements and then put up strong argument - so what the hell happened?? He hasn't once practised that. Why can't he be normal and support her and let her be independent and equal to him, what is he so afraid of? Maybe he needs to deal with his insecurities...

Conclusion: Grow up Maan, and stop pulling Geet's arm out of her socket (cos I swear the amount of times he has yanked her there is no way her arm is in one piece lol).

so true yaar.......all in all I want to see some warmth in Maan, atleast show him soften a little , the tiniest bit wen hes alone! some pain of missing her, of longing for her presence in his life....something that tells us hes not all stone and cold.
