@Jaya: Yah your portrayal of that sense of hurt would make complete sense, if Geet's character had been portrayed like someone who is a lot more independent and who has a strong sense of self pride!! But Geet has never been portrayed like that. She has always been shown as someone who takes each day as and when it comes. Think about all these instances:
1) Her family disowns her out completely for her standing up and supporting the child in her. They try to kill her (Darji and Brij in command), still when she lands back in HP she wants to go meet her brother and sis and her parents (may not be Daarji) but then the same people who couldnt really stand up to her and help her. But her feelings are not that strong that she wants to erase their memory from her heart, for they are still her blood!!
2) Sasha has tortured her to no end. Till recently she has always given been civil to Sasha and given her the unwanted title of Mam. That Mam didnt get erased till the day Sasha insulted her completely in the office when she found out the truth about her pregnancy!!
So these instances make me feel Geet is someone who yes will fight to get her point across but is never that cold and full of self pride, that she is incapable of melting when the situation in front of her eyes makes her feel things like love and attaraction!!
So when it comes to Maan, yes she was extremely put out and had a mislead sense of belief that Maan is out of marry her for the sake of honor. But then at the end of the day she herself has acknowledged that she may be slightly wrong (today morning dialogue). So she has thought about her having burst out unnecessarily over the last week! And then this person is supposedly much more than what her only family could be. This is the only person she falls back on!
So how can she remain cold??
I would just say her portrayal of Friday was of someone hurt and that hurt magnified with each and every word exchanged!! But as time goes she realizes as anyone she did probably overreact!
But now her pride has not given up completely, coz he is lighting that fire in her to fight back!!
