Drashti Dhami is an Indian actress who debuted in small screen with Dr Muskaan Chadda's role in Dill Mill Gayye. Before she entered television industry she was a model and has modelled for many ads. She was noticed in the Reliance ad and there was no looking back for this lass. She was also seen in Saiya dil me aana re' music video. She is finally getting her big break with STAR One's Geet where she plays the protagonist of the show.

Born and brought up in Mumbai, Chinky is known by many for her bubbly and vivacious nature. She was born on 10 January 1985 in a Gujarati family. After schooling at Mary Immaculate Girl's High School, Borivili (West). she joined Mithibai college to pursue an Arts degree and majored in Sociology. Drashti presently lives in Borivili with her Parents, elder brother and sister-in-law.
