1^st August,Melbourne,8.30 am

It was time alright '.Maan checked himself for the one last time in the mirror '.he felt butterflies in his stomach 'he had experienced something like this before 'women were the ones after him '.that had been the case right since college 'later even with Sam same was the case only though it was reciprocated by him only to find out later that he was neither her love nor her friend..while he had fallen for her 'which itself was under doubt as of now ' 'Why Sam never told him still irked and hurt him 'how cud she not tell and leave him like this forever '..Wud Geet leave him to ? Maan got of the car and before he could head towards her house he saw her come out '.it seemed like an angel had descended on to mother earth ..dressed in a golden beige shift dress with knitwear to match she looked gorgeous to say the least..while the slight breeze kissed her hair and played with the strands '.the whole sight was truly bewitching '.and he felt completely enchanted'so much was he lost that he hadn't realized that she had walked upto where he was 'only when he felt her hand on his shoulder did his trance break

Geet 'Maan what was that main kabse bole ja rahi hoon aur tum '

Maan felt embarrassed 'Sorry ,it was just that''

Maan 'on the contrary I was zapped 'u r looking absolutely beautiful '.i just couldn't help but keep looking'. He saw her blush and realizing that loads time had gone by he quickly led her to the front seat of the car .

Geet 'Maan where r we going 'I have asked a couple of times 'bataa bhi do,u are taking advantage ki I cant see but u watch out mister u are gonna pay for this'.

Maan 'Don't worry next time we go out ull be able to see all ,I promise that'.

She looked at him trying to comprehend what he meant and was he meaning what she was thinking he was 'seeing her look Maan quickly changed gears and said 'Five mins and we shud be there.'

7.40pm Yarra River front,Melbourne

'Ok here we are '.and since u can see from yr heart now tell me where we are '.

He parked the car and then helped her out ,once out in the fresh air ..Geet said 'Ok Maan this is easy we are at the Yarra river and it is the Dinner Cruise' u r taking me on

Maan was stunned but smiled 'U amaze me geet and thanks for killing the whole surprise within seconds'

Spirit of Melbourne Dinner Cruise 9.30pm

The 6 course meal was going perfect and Maan and Geet indulged in some conversation about each others family ,Maan divulging details abt Dadi and her various obsessions ..as well as abt Rohan and his family and how in his excitement for this evening out with her he had agreed to baby sit Arav

Geet 'kids are so much fun 'I am sure u'll njoy with him 'if koi problem ho to come over to the coffee shop '..'

The Main course was still due to arrive and the soft music had turned a little louder '.Maan saw some couples move to the small dance floor ahead '..

Geet'Maan ..how abt a dance ?'

Maan 'Oh please Geet I have two left feet 'u might just get injured 'Dancing and me 'u don't want to even try '

Geet 'Maan main kuch nahin jaanti '.I wanna dance 'and I need a partner and its going to be u 'she managed to get up 'and took hold of his arm and said Ab chalo isse pehle the food arrives or the music stops'

Maan on the dance floor could easily be the headlines any tabloid could look for '..but they cudnt expect it cause he was averse to dancing never interested so never tried 'but today here he was moving to the soft rhythm of the music that was playing matching Geet step for step 'he was surprised at his own talent 'she did bring out a different side to him '.

Geet 'Maan jhooth bola na u lied 'u r such a fab dancer '..'she said as she swayed to the beats in his arms

Maan 'Look I didn't lie '.me and dance floor ho hi nahi sakta ..that but then u seem to bring out a different me which even I don't seem to know'.U r very special.'

She stopped dancing and looked at him , he felt confused for a second'.but the smile that dazzled across her face removed every inch of the confusion that had started to seep in '

Geet ..'Is there some more time left to this cruise 'she inquired while digging into her double choc fudge ice cream with some choc pastry .

Maan ' I presume so we are going to start heading back in another 10 mins'

Geet' then finish up r dessert fast and lets head to the deck '.I want to see how it looks '..u'll have to help me see '.

Maan 'Sure lets go when u r done'

10 mins later they were there at the deck '.and the view beyond them was mesmerizing but with her next to him Maan cudnt believe there was nething more worth a look than her tonight'as he explained to her the beauty beyond he wasn't truly sure if he was describing the view of the city and water banks ,the shores beyond or was he just plainly describing her beauty to her ''

The ride back home was all abt her choice of music and her fascination for Old hindi film songs and luckily for them the local Indian radio station was playing some beautiful numbers.

Geet' I guess we r home '

Maan' Yes we r'wait a sec let me help u' with that he got off the car to help her out

Once out Geet stood facing him and said 'Thank you for the lovely evening Maan'

Maan 'Thank you''? well the pleasure is all mine ..cause believe me I have never had such a wonderful time ever before 'thank you for making the evening worth it '..and I hope its just the beginning to many more such evenings''the anticipation ,want and desire clear in his voice

Geet' Sure'.If only I 'Before she cud complete Maan said' Believe me next time u will'

Geet smiled 'and the night had suddenly turned bright 'it was definitely the effect of her dazzling smile and not that of the stars and the moon

Geet 'Gnite Maan 'with that she turned and left and then as if on impulse she turned back and came to where he was ,and then feeling his cheek with her hand first '.she rose up on her toes and gave him a small peck on the cheek 'leaving Maan surprised and too numb to react.

His trance, daze broken by her yelling 'gnite' '.she was waving to him while she stood at her main door

Maan''Wait ' with that he walked quickly to the main door of her house ,once there he bent down and kissed her on the cheek,

Maan 'I hope u didn't mind that', even in the dark he cud see her cheeks turn a light shade of red, her eyes fluttering big time as she nodded to say she didn't ,satisfied he walked back quickly to his car and turned to see if she was still there ,Yup she was still waving '.smiling '.adding her own beauty to this already spectacular night .

Collins Apartment 2^nd Aug 1,30 am

Maan was back home and was standing at his fav place , he had lost count of the number of times he had touched/felt the very spot where her lips had landed ,on his face was plastered one broad smile'.he cud smile that way he didn't know , as he looked at the night sky all that came to his mind was "Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight! For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night."
