Abhishek Sharma, who tickled our funny bone as Benjy in Miley Jab Hum Tum is back in action. He will be seen as Romeo, Geet's new admirer on STAR One's Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi.

But the twist in the tale is that the lad will have to play it subtly and keep his emotions and feelings in check. For he is playing a brahmachari who is not allowed to get even remotely close to females. To save the horror, Romeo is just faking it and will stand true to his name on the show. He will resort to all stupid and weird things to win Geet over much to her ignorance. Geet, who has joined Yash's company has surprised all and sundry by entering into an all men arena as only men are allowed in Yash's company. We caught up with Romeo to know more about his character, role and shooting with the hottest jodi on STAR One.

"I am having a gala time shooting as Romeo in Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi. Romeo is just faking it as a brahmachari but in reality, he goes weak in his knees even at the sight of a girl. I am looking forward to the party time after Geet has arrived here at our work-place. I fall for her and do all stupid things to win her attention. I love her and dislike Maan for he keeps troubling her. I would use every trick in the trade to win her over. My character is very much like that of Marshall Eriksen from How I Met Your Brother", says Romeo.

But how would he make Geet fall for a brahmachari like him? "Well I will be a nice and well-behaved boy with her. I will support her throughout. On a serious note I am an awesome brahmachari girls die for", answers Romeo.

Romeo in real life believes in harmless flirting and the girl has to be strong enough to keep a check on her heart before it starts singing Romeo's tune. He states, "Well I am big flirt. If you ask me to count my affairs on fingers, I think I will fall short of numbers and will have to use my toes too (laughs). Honestly, I believe in healthy flirting. I don't mean to hurt anyone."

Romeo's track would bring the show to an interesting turn where Geet is currently figuring out as to who is her fair, weather friend, and who can she trust all her life and yes our cutie-pie Romeo is one of those who the girl can bank upon throughout. He says, "This is a big twist in Geet's life. She has left Maan and his job and has entered in a complete new domain trying to find out the people who she can trust for real and I am one of them who will support her forever."

Sharing his first hand experience on the first day of the shoot, he adds, "Both Geet and Maan are very hospitable and warm. It was great fun shooting with them and never felt like the first day of my shoot. I was very comfortable working with the entire team of the show."

Unmasking the real Geet, the guy says, "Drishti who plays Geet is completely different from her on-screen character. Where Geet is sober and calm, Drishti is full of life."

Few know that he too was supposed to make a comeback on the MJHT like Uday (Jas Karan) but things didn't materialise as he gave his dates to another show which unfortunately didn't see the light of the day. Says he, "I would love to make a come back on MJHT but I doubt if STAR One would repeat me considering that I am playing Romeo in Geet. I was called back sometime back but I had given my dates to another project which didn't take off. I miss the whole gang of the show and the fun we used to have during the shoot and off it."

Romeo feels lucky to be a part of two shows on the same channel. According to him, where MJHT is a campus show where the story focuses on the lives of students, Geet is a mature love story. "The best part of working with STAR One is that its both colourful and youthful. Given a chance, I would keep doing shows only for STAR One all my life. The channel is a mix of variety of shows ranging from campus show, love story to a show on the medical interns. After MJHT, I have got the chance to showcase the same masti as Benjy on Geet too. The only difference is that Romeo is the matured version of Benjy", quips he.

Well with his entry on the show, Romeo also would like to warn his co-actors of his impending pranks. Known to be a prankster, he is just waiting for the right opportunity to pull a fast one on them. "Well, I am soon going to play a prank on my co-actors. Abhi toh shuruat hai aagey aagey dekho hota hai kya (This is just the beginning, watch out to know what the future holds)", signs off he.

Will Romeo play the important link between Geet and Maan by bringing them together or the couple would keep drifting apart. Catch Geet as she gets surprised herself with the new development in her life as she leaves Maan and joins Yash's company on Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi, Monday to Friday at 9:30 pm on STAR One.
