Hello everyone,
First of all as u all know by now Doodle is off to India & right now she must be in the plane & so I am filling in for her today. Wishing her a wonderful, happy & safe journey & I am sure she will enjoy this festive season in India!! Doodle we will surely miss ur analysis a lot but enjoy this trip!! And everyone celebrating Durga Puja, a Happy MahaSasthi!!
And girls pls bear with me, no sandals & rotten eggs & tomatoes pls!! It won't be good like Doodle's or u all's but will try to pen down my thoughts to the best of my knowledge & capability.
CV's, Nissar, PH a big pat on ur back for running the show in a critical time like this without GC & DD down last week as well & u r managing to pull this through. But when I am watching a show, to me, certain characteristics make a show unparallel from others & they r the story concept, character sketch & consistency, visual effect, pace of the story or story telling, direction & of course acting! About today's episode I had mixed feelings in certain arenas which I will elaborate later as I proceed.
Its always a pleasure to watch the continuation from the last episode & it connects us to the situation! Geet running after Maan crazily & her bumping into the nurse was a reality check for her. She realised that though she feels Maan is here somewhere but how & why can he be there! He can be in camp, home, office anywhere. Ok very good!! But here I have an issue CV's not 2 days ago u show us she is feeling Maan's presence from the top floor & runs down to him & that feeling lingers even now & yet she held herself back to find out whether the patient was Maan or not? She couldn't ask the nurse about the patient or his name? She couldn't probe further to see why was she feeling the way she was when she saw the dupatta stuck on the patient? I know u all r setting a back drop for them to separate but still expected better from u on this. I thought u all will be more convincing to show the separation & misunderstanding that u r slowly bringing on! Well this is my thoughts!!
Then she goes to the doctor for a DNA test & I agree the doctor does pose some personal questions not related to her pregnancy!! Maybe a simple chitchat to ease her up! Now someone from the medical background can help me on this! I didn't know getting a DNA test is harmful for the baby's health! Seriously almost everyday here in USA I hear people r getting DNA tests done but not once I heard its harmful for the baby's health! Is it harmful for the baby when u want to undergo the test when u r pregnant?? I thought the doctor will ask for the sample to match it with for whom she is asking for the test. Obviously knowing Geet I knew she will back out from it & I am proud to see here motherly feelings here. Naturally her child's health will be primary most important than any test done for any purpose! She can always punish Dev later on.
I am liking the fact that CV's, u r trying to think about the sequence of the facts or scenes but still it seems there is some opening left which u should have taken care of. And I also know its a daily soap & its not possible to tie all loose ends but still I somehow always expect the best from u Nissar & Richa & Swati! Because u have spoilt me giving ur best almost all the time! That promo which showed Geet saying I have punished Dev for his sin, so that slap & public humiliation was all the punishment she could manage at this point of time? Ok!
Loved Dadi's genuine love, concern & worries for Maan, shows that even now all that matters to her is Maan & his happiness! I am hoping in future Dadi will not pose a problem in Maaneet love story! When she will see Maan loves Geet beyond anything & only she can make him happy, she will back out & embrace Geet back in her life again with the baby & all.
I knew Geet will encounter NT in the hospital & no one else could spit venom the way NT does & she will be successful in dissuading Geet from pursuing Maan! Hmmmm, it was predictable! Firstly acting wise both DD & Kashmira stole the show with their performances. DD was that old Geet, a more quieter version, but that guileless, vulnerable, gullible Geet who believed on face value & got swayed by NT as she was in her earlier life as well. And Kashmira essayed NT & her cunning nature perfectly to the T! She was her usual vicious, spiteful, rancorous, resentful, embittered self!
NT got shocked to see Geet there in the hospital & was wondering why & how she landed there. And Geet before NT could ask anything offered her opinion about not going for the DNA test! Why Geet? Why did u have to utter those words? Why did u presume so much? Couldn't u have simply asked what she was doing there? Why was she in the hospital? Whether she was following her or not, if so then she must have been in the police station as well, right?? And that NT won't dare knowing what she actually did! Why offer something what u feel or r thinking to ur opponent? And as usual NT to spite Geet said what I wrote y'day that she won't be able to prove anything what she said, for every accusation Geet will need proof & that she doesn't have any! And NT knows this & rubs it on her! So u see exactly why I asked y'day what was the point of that confrontation in the office y'day? Publicly Geet narrated her side of the story & Dev & NT didn't own up anything & today they will turn around & say all were lies to fabricate them for money or whatever & Geet won't be able to prove her innocence for lack of proofs! So such a big confrontation underwent for nothing!! U should have been more thoughtful about this CV"s, it should have made a severe impact on Dev & NT & instead they r walking around freely & uninhibitedly!
I loved Geet's confidence there & her not backing away from NT's taunts & mockery! That is one thing Geet is always capable of, boldly face a situation & not run or look away! And I love her for that! That consistency is there in her character which u CV's have maintained all along! And it was her this confidence about justice to take NT to jail rubbed NT badly on her conscience & ego! Yeah I know hard to believe she has any conscience left but she knows she has done wrong & somewhere that guilt will always play on her mind. And obviously Babaji's justice will also be bestowed on her but I guess it will be after MSK is fit & fine! Only he can put NT & Dev behind bars & we will have to wait for that moment! I will wait to see what 'raasta' CV's u all will adopt to bring the truth out with evidence! Will Pammi, Dev's mom come back or will Dev himself openly admit to everything!?
And then Geet saw the Taveez in NT's hand & here too she had to blurt out the importance & significance of it. Geet why didn't u just take it from her & ask her where she found it? And wait for her answer! And in this whole section my major pet peeve lies. NT went on telling one lie after another about MSK & Geet kept believing her!! Well I know the Taveez was proof itself but here it is NT we r talking about & Geet ought to know she can beg, borrow or steal to keep Geet away from MSK, thus her own doom! Only one person can bring justice & that is MSK & he who always upholds truth in his life how will he side with falsehood, lie, injustice?? Have u ever thought of this Geet? How could u & why did u believe NT on face value about all the lies she told about MSK?
First of all NT's being there itself is a question mark! It doesn't make sense she would come running after Geet to hand over the Taveez that too which MSK has asked her to handover to Geet in a hospital! I mean MSK doesn't give his work to anybody else to undertake & here Geet u believed he will give NT the Taveez to hand over to u? If he had to say anything he will directly tell it to u on ur face, this much even we know. If he has to cut off ties with her he will tell her himself, if he doesn't want to see her again he will again voice it himself instead of sending a messenger to do the dirty job! If he has to break up their relationship then he will come up upfront & do it on her face, he is no escapist, then why did u believe all this Geet? That is not MSK! Simply listen to ur heart whether MSK can ever do all these or not through someone? Obviously this was a major faux pas according to me! But I know as I said earlier u all have to show the separation to show the future track of their meeting in future again under a different circumstances & scenario & again those tensions will be felt for which u r paving the ground today! But still all these questions do pop in my mind! And I also know after this eventful day & that office scenario & in her condition Geet must be at the end of her wits to think anything logical but from an audience's POV I wasn't too happy!
But I loved Geet's retort about how such an auspicious object doesn't suit in the dirty hands of NT, bravo Geet! And the way she snatched it away from her was also remarkable as if it was being tainted by NT's evil self. Those HP fb's was such a breath of fresh air in the whole episode & the importance of the Taveez was once again portrayed but in this current scenario its significance gathered dust, CV's!! U r not creating misunderstanding but u r making them unable to understand each other at all. And all these past months u r the one who created such a beautiful mature relationship based on mutual understanding, love, acceptance, a sense of belonging & bonding of the hearts. See where my dilemma lies?? I have seen them undergone several storms together, facing them & sorting out their differences, their pledges & vows for each other, their mutual understanding based on truth, trust & belief, their union of souls & yet a mere push comes from outside & their castle of love topples over so easily?? Then why did we undergo Parineeta metaphor along with all those vows & pledges when they won't even look deep into their relationship to realise one can't behave this way in love & in relationship? Sigh!! Anyway will see how u all will play it all out! Today's episode wasn't a strong enough reason for me to accept Geet misunderstands Maan like the way she did in spite of seeing the Taveez in NT's hand.
And after NT left Geet walking past by MSK's room with Dev standing right there was too much of a coincidence. Looked too cliche, have seen that miss & trial innumerable times in other shows. Loved the fb of their vows of their jungle night & the difference of the situation all the more stood out for me!! That MSK who promised so much to her & she is questioning him now like this! And I would be angry like anything if u show this same feelings, questions on Maan as well! He is too mature to think illogically about Geet, pls don't make him so juvenile in his reasoning as well!
And the reason for Maan not to misunderstand Geet was shown today itself when she didn't take off her ring. He will know she still loves him & has not broken up all ties with him when he will meet her in future seeing that she has the ring on. I liked Geet's thoughts there about not taking off the ring.
After this point the episode kind of lost interest for me! People running on the corridor of a hospital as if the hospital was on fire was too much & that too for 2 children! Children r not even allowed in hospitals except for visiting hours & here just to show they r monsters people r running helter skelter like that?? And then the new entry, again filmy & OTT! His sudden reading of Geet as his saviour for the kids was such a big surprise! I mean he left the kids with a total stranger just like that? No matter how old the kids r or how naughty they r, or how good the stranger is, one doesn't trust anyone like that! That scene was preposterous!
And then the whole interaction between the kids & Geet was also very fake & OTT! I didn't even relate to that at all. Sorry CV's! And what was the point to show this new entrant in a shower on his first day? U all think we will be impressed? Well think again! We don't get carried away by mere guys taking a shower whether in bare torso or in a vest! Even with MSK we told u not to show him bare bodied at drop of a hat for no rime or reason & here it was totally unjustified, not even required! And he was taking a shower where? In the hospital itself? Or did he go back home leaving the kids behind with Geet? Again absurd!
Maybe they r trying to portray this Aditya guy as a very happy-go-lucky guy who is spontaneous, impulsive & whimsical, who just acts on an impulse without a thought & this is why he will instantly offer Geet a job & in comparison Geet will look way too wise & mature next to him! Again will wait & watch. After reading the article about this Aditya guy I can see how u all r planning to take the story ahead. Lets see whether we will be intrigued again or not in the office drama & romance with all these misunderstandings looming in the air.
Overall just an ok episode to me! The Geet & NT scene was the best ever! Loved the acting there on both DD & Karishma's part! Rest it was time pass! As I mentioned am having problems in character sketches & pace of the story based on logic & reasoning!
Will expect a better tomorrow! Hope I did justice to today's episode! Ok girls the stage is all urs now!! :-)) So take it over from here!
