Poor Show CVs *thumbs down* M/N p10

Not a happy little engagement treat was that now?!

However, this post is to express my dissatisfaction with the way Daadi's character was butchered today. (As if it wasn't enough that there is no consistency of character sketches whatsoever in this show, barring Maan and Geet, mostly.)

Nope. I'm not going to rant off with obscenities for Daadi to bad mouth, insult and throw Geet out of mansion. Rather, I wish to express much disappointment in the way the CVs chose to have her play a self contradictory character today...

On the one hand was her anguish, for Maan was in such utter and evident pain. And also, cause really, there is a society to care about after all, whether ones likes or not. Daadi was justified to have her misgivings there, completely justified.

However, on the other hand we had Daadi's unperturbed, and unquestioning welcome to NT?!!! Er...!🤢 So Geet was bringing the house bad name by pulling off that disappearing act, but apparently Daadi had never expected much 'sanskaar' from NT to find no similar disappointment, or humiliation in the way NT had disappeared one fine morning... yeh, agreed it wasn't in the engagement party of the millenium, but come on! Was no body ever going to ask about NT from the mighty Khuranas? And was that never going to be awkward? Or its okay for one to go missing if you're a canadian NRI bahu, than if you're an orthodox seeming small town one?

And again, Daadi was miserable that Maan was hurting... Is Dev like her step grandson or something???

Not to defend Dev, but one must admit that if Daadi is justified to hold Geet wrong for things turning awry because she doesn't know 'all details' she is equally unjustified in the difference of her reaction towards the pain of her two grandsons, because again, she doesn't know 'all details' and has no reason to be less favoring of Dev...

It was a lose and thoughtless track overall, as far as Daadi was concerned. What ought to have been a fair reason for disappoinment for Daadi putting her up against Geet (And thereby giving the show a track to proceed on) turned out being a carelessly done storyline. Now Daadi falls much in the wrong category, and not unknowingly, but in clear prejudice of judgment...

I really wana know what's so cool about getting good characters to become abruptly and uncharacteristically thoughtless and dimwit, so that many episodes in the future can be spent wasting time with all the redemption tracks to make up

extremely clumsy on the part of CVs... Its enough that they give us a range of half baked characters like Dev/NT/Meera/Pari/the much anticipated but never showing up Sameera...and others... who are merely thrown in at points in the episodes to sort of fill up space most times... The saving grace to this show (which continues to rule charts anyways) is the Maan Geet story - the characters and actors are equally riveting and the audience clings on! But its no reason for CVs to keep dishing out senseless new threads... 🤢

And with that, I rest my point.
A disappointed viewer of the show.
Demanding a more thoughtful track for two characters who are rulling Indian TV atm.

just read - DD also unwell?!!! Whatever is happening on the sets! :|

wish them both a speedy recovery... 🤗

and that brings the CVs to a real test of 'good script' because minus the favorites of the show, they can't just keep showing reckless stuff :S

^^ sorry, don't know your names!

but this is not a post to bash CVs... its only to reflect upon what they have been exceedingly lax with for quite some time now. Just because the lead stars of this show make a splendid on screen duo isn't enough to lose track of storylines... and character sketches... they could have done today's episode showing Daadi upset with Geet, and NT...

and bad scripts lead to sad demise for extraordinary shows...we've all seen what DMG has come to ... :|

sorry if i offended you, that was not intended in the least. So peace ?! =)

unfortunately for me - i can't overlook glaring glitches in the script, and that has nothing to do with GurTi being unwell... there is a whole range of characters to spend time with (we'd miss Maaneet but still) and the CVs could entirely fall back on NT-Dev-Meera track for a couple episodes instead of giving us unjustified raw nothings...

sorry!

like i said, this is to offend no one. But the bad health of actors is ALL the more reason for CVs to pull up their socks...

yo man! the CV's are in a really tight spot right now, and the way dadi is feeling seems justified to me because any mother (motherlike figure) would feel that for her son if she has witnessed him go through so much pain before (as in sameera). so sit back and watch the show, Daadi will come back, and i'm sure she'll apologize to geet too. She's in a lot of shock right now cuz of what's going on. And for her to be pissed at NT, I still don't think she really knows what happened and why NT left, to me it seems like Dev probably told her that she just went to Canada and will be back. But of course, if dadi knew abt NT's leave then she would've probably done something about it.
But chillax, and give the Creatives some time, they'll bring MSK and his geet back with a BANG!! 😃

err - no! actually Daadi was aware that NT had sort of just walked out on Dev, as per an earlier episode sometime...

and really, i cant see why people think im here with my bazookas pointed out at the CVs... i'm just majorly disappointed with what they did today... not cause the track went all sad... but because they went realy off target... as i've said on other posts, and here.. they always have Meera-Dev-NT to concentrate on, without GurTi for a bit... they don't need to go out of line and bail out themselves with the actors falling sick..

my bad then, i guess mujhe short term memory loss ho raha hai 😆
I get what your saying though, that they could've concentrated on other things that they gave importance to before and kind of left em hanging there.
