Hey guy! Excitedly waiting for the engagement party? Me too. I haven't much visited IF from past two days so I am not sure if U guys are still having apprehensions about that something wrong might happen tonight. Well I also had fears till yesterday but after watching the repeat telecast this morning I am pretty sure that every dark cloud will disappear and our Maan and Geet will get engaged this week. Here are some of the reasons why I am sounding so optimistic about the whole things. Let's analyze the meaning hidden in Maan's words to Geet where CVs have very cleverly hidden clues for forthcoming episodes.
"Hamare beech koch nakli nahin...kuch banawati nahi hoga."
We all know about Dev and Geet but Maan and Geet don't. I always wanted the engagement to happen before Dev's true identity is revealed but now I think if they get engaged before Dev's revelation then Geet may regret her decision and think if she had known it before that Dev is Maan's brother she would not have agreed for the engagement. Remember escaping every stressful situation is her basic trait. Maan on the other hand will be in dilemma as a brother and as a lover. Maan and Geet both will again feel cheated by life/destiny because just now they have re-entrusted their faith in destiny/life. But I really don't think any such scenario will happen where they will doubt their relationship or engagement. At this stage characters of both Maan and Geet are reaping to maturity hence I do not see them breaking again. There would be nothing 'nakli and banawati' between them. So the engagement won't happen under the shadow of any deception be it Dev's deception.
"Main tumhain aur tumhaare aatm-samman ko jaanta hoon Geet."
We have seen how initially Maan has struggled to understand the real pain behind her tears. He used to think that it was the separation/betrayal from her family that hurts her but actually it was the damage caused not only to her body but also to her self- respect and soul that has pained her heart more than anything else. Once Maan realized this, his respect and love for her grew to its pinnacle. So under no circumstances he will misunderstand Geet at this stage even if Dev truth comes out in open.
"Jab tum chal ke mere pas aaogi tab hamare beech kai jhoot kai chalawa nahin hooga"
We all know there is a skeleton hidden in the closet and whenever it will come out it will disrupt everybody's relationship and trust. And if it comes out before marriage the better it would be. I really think that Maan and Geet would come to know about Dev before engagement. Every skeleton, every chal (Dev's ) and every Jhoot would come out in open and there would be no more misunderstanding. Every time Geet had tried to escape the situation Maan had been her pillar of strength. But this time they both need each other's support very badly. Remember Geet had promised that she will not let her past come in between. This is another clue that Maan and Geet will get engaged after Dev's truth revelation. Maan will never back off ....it's not Maan's character. Under no circumstance he will leave Geet after knowing Dev's truth. They will together come out victoriously. When Geet would walk down to meet Maan in all sincerity Maan's eyes would give her support to carry on...and Maan would get strengthen by seeing how sincerely and lovingly Geet is heading towards him leaving every pain, every deception, every 'chalawa' behind.
Dev is repenting....
Dev loves his brother...it seems and he does not want Geet and Maan to suffer because of his mistakes...so he had decided to reveal his true identity. At least he understands this much. He does not want her brother to feel betrayed and this means he would definitely tell Maan and Geet before their engagement. At least this one action of him will show him in good light....there may be a good spirit hidden under every bad person. Hate sin not the sinner. Every sinner should be given a chance for repentance. I am not supporting Dev but this is what wise men have said.
Geet hides truth from Maan.....A remote possibility.
If a scenario arises where only Geet and Dev comes face to face and Dev confronts her (what audacity!!! that would be) and Geet decided to hide the truth from Maan may be for his own good...may be because she does not want Maant to hurt....I think then the only person who won't know about the truth is Maan (we know, Dev, Geet , NT, Myra everybody know)and that would make him an utter fool....a Bechara. Please I don't want a Bechaara, emotional fool Maan. That will spoil his MSK image. Geet knows that Maan hate lies and truth is the basis of their love. She had unknowingly done this mistake of not him the complete truth and seen the consequences...I don't think she would repeat the same mistake again. Geet is a brave girl and has always stood by the truth. She faced every consequence to defend her baby and now her love is being questioned and she will not hide behind the darkness of deception.
@ Dewdropred.....they must already have done with tonight's episode but this is just an attempt to read between the lines. How far it will come true I don't know but it'll keep my optimistic soul alive.
