Maan for his Parineeta – Promising Portrait

Yelloooo all my Friends, Devils, CVs, Star, Mr. Mirchandani and Nissar. I hope you had a relatively cool day today after all the praises that you have received from the Industry, Friends, Families and Colleagues last 2 days. Well first I thought that I will start a series again post parineeta phase of Maan and Geet's life. But then I thought may be we can start a theory again so backed off. Hence I have given the title only based on today's episode.

Let's start with the episode. Can you tell me whose fault was in editing today??? Channel's or Nissar's??? I seriously am utterly confused. What you think Nissar??? Since you have done one great job so you thought that I will not notice the discontinuation at all??? I don't get this. The start of the episode was so abrupt. Imagine if some viewer who missed yesterday's episode watches today's then that viewer will be in total soup. He/she won't even realize what has happened earlier until and unless he/she watches it. All of a sudden they will think what happened in between that these two lovebirds are behaving like a love sick puppy. So, in all I didn't like the start of the episode.

Let me now come to Maan's characterizations. Well I understand and have seen everywhere that when a person fall in love they behave idiotically. But I always feel every age has their way of behaving when they fall in love. I generally won't expect Michael Douglas to have behaved the same way as Maan did when he would have fallen in love with Catherine Zeta. Same way I never expected Maan to behave the same way as Armaan did in DMG. I know Nissar both are your creations but just look for yourself how you did both the Love Declarations. That is what I wanted to realize. You too understand your own strength. Let me give you the example by comparing your own creations. Armaan and Maan are two different characters. Maan is way more sophisticated than Armaan. Maan is established. He has seen the world. He knows the value of life and love. Not that Armaan don't know but Maan is way more polished. Maan achieved something big in life. He has a position that he cariies with himself. How can you expect me to accept the behavior that you made Maan to portray??? I am sorry many have liked it but me not. I loved the scene if I take it as if someone who is just in college has fallen in love. This one suited SRK in DDLG because his character there was different than Maan's. Never ever do that in future. I am saying it again stay in the character.

It would have been nice if you have shown something different. A character like Maan should be conscious that he should not get caught. Like when Meera came he was not embarrassed of getting caught of peeping to his Fiancee but rather I would have liked if he would have straightforwardly gone to her and talked. Maan is different. Overnight you cannot change him. He is possessive, aggressive and persuasive and also understanding. But today except being understanding I have not seen any characteristics in him. That was not right character skectch. And Maan doing "Tathastu' was just odd. How can he do that??? I know he cannot stay away from her now but think from the perspective of a man like Maan. How he will move forward. Just do the brainstorm and be cautious before you kill the character. Today very few can see what can happen in future but later on everybody will attack you.

One more thing this is for Gurmeet. Just a criticism and don't be disheartened. Try to correct your self. Today some places I felt like it was you yourself and not Maan. Again I am telling you Gurmeet stay in your character whil portraying Maan. It's very very important otherwise Maan will lose its charm in the viewers' imaginations. Just be careful.

This one's for Drashti. Wow. Finally I am criticizing you. You know I have always looked to see the flaws when you are on screen where I can tell you. But couldn't fine anything major to criticize you. Today I got. Same thing I am telling you that today at some place I found as if I am seeing Drashti and not Geet. May Geet has started to become more comfortable in Maan but still there was a little of Drashti somewhere. So, just check yourself out in future.

Enough of bashing. Now let's talk something good. Finally the lovebirds got the blessing of the elders. My fav scene. It was when Dadima said to Geet that how she has changed Maan as how she has tamed the shrew I loved the pleasure look of Maan there as if he is pleased to be tamed by Geet. It was fabulous there. Yup. She indeed achieved the impossible by making Maan including the words like " Sorry, Please and Thank you" in his dictionary. He even now is not bothered to bow down before Geet and she in turn managed to get things done her own sweet way.

Now here I wanna talk about the "Water Symbolism". Now Nissar me bit confused here. I guess we have completed the "Parineeta Metaphor". But then how come you are again showing Maan taking the vow of 4th Vachan in the precap for tomorrow where he vows to be with her in joys and sorrows. Now I need the confirmation on what is going on. If it's a promising portrait then it's ok. Or, just lemme know if you want to show the Post Parineeta Relationship. Then I am fine with it anyhow. But I do need a confirmation. Period.

Did you notice the water symbolism in the bathtub scene? Well I think Nissar forgot the rain in the Metaphor Completion and he couldn't shoot also. But I think the bathtub scene was just not for some post decalaration sexual tension towards next level but it had a deep meaning. I so want this phase to go slow so that the lovebirds can have more understanding within themselves. This is very important because then we can see when the Dev truth will come out Maan and Geet will fight the problem together because that is why "Parineeta Metaphor" came into existence. Yeah, I remember in my analysis in the Fountain Scene episode I mentioned that water will be instrumental in erasing out the past of Geet also since water always binded them when she was in pain or trouble. Today he showed that water erased her past too. Did you notice even though the red rose petals were there today she didn't even remember Dev after seeing the rose petals? And I think this was a done scene in many series but I loved the execution. It was done in a very aesthetic manner. Too good. Now see this scene was Maan like and there is the difference which I told you earlier. But again the only flaw I felt is a glimpse of GC and DD here and there in the entire scene which was disturbing the essence. Other than that this scene was way beautiful. But you know what I just hate when someone make funny comments in such a blissful moment. I felt like slapping the CVs there. I know they wanted to lighten the scene but nooooo…that was pathetic. Just not done. If I were Maan there then would have killed Geet for ruining the moment. That would have been actually Maan but as I said I felt GC somewhere but CVs better be careful in future.

Well so the bride is getting ready for the enagagement. Oh. Here I have already mentioned earlier that I would love to see that Maan dresses her up for the engagement. You know in every engagement the girl comes in all adorned and the boy is all amazed by her beauty. You know Nissar that is so done in every series. Just do it in a different way. Since here the Metaphor is completed before the engagement I would want Maan to make Geet ready for the engagement not only with her attire but also make him put on her with all the jewelries and accessories and everybody will be stunned by seeing her. After all she is his bride. He can make her ready right??? Ain't that great Nissar??? Oh, how I wish it was in my hands.

Before I get into Dev's theory I would like to talk about the title:-

Today we have seen how Maan has started to work on his responsibility. I just loved that. Yes that was a wonderful portrayal. Isn't it??? I loved the hospital Scene to the core. Btw was that Sanjeevani??? I saw it when I followed AR's love declaration to watch Nissar's work. Oh. now am happy as Maan and Geet's Declaration of Love is way better than AR and rest of the lot in the tele Industry. Btw, the hospital scene really showed the promising portrait of Maan. Now didn't I tell you that Geet will be the one who will tell the world the difference between Maan and Dev. That day is coming for sure. Right Nissar??? Hmm. I can see that.

I loved to hear Mr. and Mrs. Khurana when the Doc said that. See Geet is so married with Maan in heart and soul. Maan's Parineeta Geet. WOW. I think somewhere in my analysis and in Mishti's thread I wrote about the Baby Custody where I said that this is one truth which is the base of the serial and I honor the makers of Geet for bringing up this social stigma in to picture. I want Maan to raise this Child. I want to see how Maan becomes a good father in raising that baby as his and how they support each other in every aspect and overcome every obstacle and show the world that when two people are in love then nothing comes between them how ever complicated there past is.

Now let's come to Dev issue:-

Ok. Now Meera came to know about Geet being Maan's fiance. Well Meera is a friend of Dev and she will think of protecting Dev more than anything else. So, in her place it is quite natural that she will stop Dev to meet Geet. And here I wanna say to Nissar that be sure Abhinav does good acting. Here he needs to act properly as now the story is coming towards confrontation. And if this way he heads then very soon he needs to be replaced. AS is not at all acting well. No expressions at all. And I am amazed that he even wanted major screen space??? Tell him to check himself first and then demand. Perneet is good but she doesn't act with conviction. I somehow feel like she is very gullible. How can she be savior of Geet if she is not strong enough in her screen presence???

Ok. Now I guess why Star One has come up with the poll of Dev getting a second chance??? Now who ever ahs come out of that pathetic poll I just wanna know if that is because of my analysis on redemption or not. If it is after my analysis onnredemption then I would suggest that you better go back check my analysis. I suggested no redemption before any kind of punishment served by Dev. Then how come in the world you can even think of Dev getting a second chance??? Well now I will definitely come up with the theory of how Dev will get the punishment on Monday. Till then you carry on with the engagement hungama.

Now how come Star One thinks that Dev can get a second chance so soon and that too without facing the problem??? He is scared of facing Geet that I understand as he is a confused selfish soul. That much I know about him that he is using Meera here but as soon as he will see the danger ahead then he won't even bothers about her as then he will realize that NT only can save him. Remember he can never face the problem. He doesn't have the guts here. My only worry is I am not getting the time to understand the storyline of Dev.

How can anyone just forget what he did to Geet??? Yesterday itself I mentioned in my analysis that there are so many girls in this world who are like Geet and they are finding some inspiration that they can also live their lives on their own terms. On the other hand I see you all are starting a poll to know if Dev can get a second chance or not?? How can you even think of opening a poll??? Are you all not human??? All you can think about is TRPs. Thats it. Can't you even just for a moment think about those women and girls who are suffering from this social stigma??? Still you instead of being an inspiration to all these women all you can think of is the TRPs. Seriously did you even read my analysis on Redemption??? Yes I know I said that I will support you but at the same time I said that before redemption Dev has to be punished and that is the eternal law that a criminal needs to be convicted and sentenced.

To my eyes Dev is always a "Cold Blooded Rapist". I cannot call it a mistake it is a proper crime what he did. The marriage was real for Geet but it was fake for Dev. When he knew that the marriage was fake then how come he even thought of making love to Geet??? To me this act of Dev was a "Cold Blooded Rape" and the child out of this is definitely illicit. Even after that horrendous act Dev purposefully left her at the airport and was celebrating after his plan was fulfilled. All I can say his he has to own his crime and I loved the fact that you are thinking of sending him to prison. Yes. He belongs there as I have always said that the cell is booked for him and NT and even Pammi and Dev's Sister.

I want Maan to erupt like a volcano when he comes to know what crime Dev had done and will be all set to punish him. The court case has to happen and Dev needs to serve the sentence.

1. Dev has to own his crime.
2. He needs to be convicted.
3. He has to serve his sentence.

Wait for Monday and I will come up with the punishment line up for Dev.

Precap:- Loved it. One one hand Maan and Geet's bond became stronger and on the other hand Dev and Meera is in trouble for big time. Now you all see why I wanted the Parineeta Metaphor to be completed before and why "Union of Souls" was important in their relationship. Nissar I just want here that Maan and Geet both should fight the battle here against Dev and not singlehandedly because they are one here is soul.

Still I think the confrontation should be sometime next week and not tomorrow. Because as I said this is your "Trump Card" and just play it very wisely.

Overall an average but logical Episode.

@ doodle...loved all that u said and esp abt DEV...totally agree that he is rapist and he HAS to serve the time for the crime....u cannot kill someone and then say please forgive me Im sorry...and expect to be forgiven because you say you are remorseful...you have to suffer the consequences.

@ above lines..You said that Maan did not seem embarrassed to have been caught by Meera peeping at Geet...And that seemed out of MAAN's character...
But somehow i felt that NOT being embarrassed is in fact the character of MAAN...He is a very strong and confident character....so why would he be embarrassed about anything? He knows exactly what he is doing and it was not like he was trying to hide the fact that he was peeping at Geet at that moment...He had the pride in him and the satisfaction...he just wanted to feel the joy that Geet felt at that moment.he wanted to just watch her be happy..
The next moment he proves that by saying that if she is not coming to him...he will go to her!! he has no problems facing anyone...even when Geet was trying to hide him..he wasnt at all worried..
So i just felt that it was completely in character!
But it might just be the way i am looking at it...
What do u think? or am i just giving him the BOD here?

Hello Nissar & CV's,

Another day, another episode, another analysis but am happy to say the feelings r still the same as it was y'day! I was a little sceptical thinking maybe we will get a mediocre episode after the grand historic one of y'day but I am happy to say the episode was relatively good & I am happy!! Which in itself says a lot. Though I won't go into too much details today but will point out the main scenes.

I know many of u r disappointed in not getting a tent scene but frankly as I said y'day I didn't mind. I was so happy & satiated with the bonding of hearts & union of souls that I didn't mind if they didn't take it to the next level so soon! Let them take one step at a time, built up to the moment, make up a rapport on that regard..............bottom line I want them to take it slow & not rush it!! Hope Nissar u r listening! Everything has its time & for them to enjoy this initial phase is more enticing to me! Once the level is crossed then it becomes commonplace, more like mostly passion & desire but I want to see & enjoy the romance now. Love this phase of the stolen glances, those hidden shy smiles, fear of getting caught, aware of another's presence near by, curbing the urge for those fleeting touches, always a desire looming over to kiss, the craving for physical proximity just to share & enjoy even paltry stuff, always thinking of the other when the other person is not around, waiting for the phone call just to hear the voice & such many more strong stimulations that goes on in this phase which kind of lessens when the final level is reached. It doesn't go extinct but definitely the urges lessens! So yeah bring it on Nissar, as long as u can!!

Maan is fulfilling his promise already! He wanted to start his morning with her & he made sure he did that! That look on him looking at Geet was so romantic & a pleasant surprise for me!! Never thought will see MSK in this avatar trying to steal a glance at his sweetheart early morning away from all the peering eyes! Never imagined MSK to do that but it looked good! 😃 And I loved the red color combination, both in red symbolising they r in love. I like it, y'day white symbolised purity & today red showing they r brimming with love.

And we saw a lighter side of Maan when Geet touched dadi's feet the way he raised his hand showing he is blessing her was cute & funny. So MSK also knows how to joke! And loved the triumphant look, proud smile & satisfied expression on Maan's face when dadi was telling Geet that she tamed the unconquerable Maan, is bringing happiness to his life & to the family. That was one happy would-be-groom right there! 😃

Ok when dadi said to Geet that from today along with these jewelleries the honor & tradition of Khurana family lies with u, did anyone get a notion of the near future?? When the confrontation takes place between Dev & Geet & the baby truth will also be out I can see this dialog coming back from dadi! Will see what her stand will be then.

Meera is pretty friendly with Maan, no?? Usually girls r at awe of him. And another proud moment of Maan when he shows Geet to Meera & asking her isn't she beautiful! This guy is simply beaming with pride about his chosen prize!! 😃

Here I didn't like Meera's tone when she thought Geet to be a problem in Dev's life because she is getting engaged to Maan. I mean she knows what Geet has undergone in her life because of Dev & she is calling Geet a problem for Dev!! But maybe she means complications for Dev here because now not only he has to apologise to Geet but to Maan as well because Geet is going to be his wife now & everyone can comprehend what will be Maan's reaction when he comes to know about the truth! But whatever it shouldn't have come out that way from Meera.

It was good to see MSK back in action! Whatever he wants to do he does it straightaway head on without hiding or concealing anything from anybody. He wants to go & talk to Geet himself when she refused to come out or look at him. That is MSK to me, no beating round the bush! 😃

Is Nakul on depression medication? 😆 He always has that 'dukhiyari' expression on his face! Ok after this there r moments which r pretty, well how should I put it, sensuous!! 😆 His coming towards her asking very suggestively 'kyun mere saath akele jaane mein tumhe darr lagta hai?' was a jaw dropping moment! 😃 And Geet as usual hilarious, 'sher dil' & 'chuha dil'!! 😆 And again his stand why should we hide from anyone shows his authoritative stand in life! And just a question, shouldn't a girl be shy to change even in front of the same sex?? That statement of the girl made me wonder!! And so our 'sher dil' hero did have a wonderful view from his position! 😆 And she changed knowing he was there!! 😉

And errr, ummm, did anybody see Maan's look when she was getting in the tub?? Almost like a tiger stalking its prey! 😆 Gave me goosebumps! 😆 And here one thing a special mention when Geet saw those rose petals not for a moment she was reminded of HP & Dev, a very important fact showing how Maan has erased all her memories of her ominous past.

Ok I won't talk about the tub scene too much or else I won't know where to stop & how to pen down what all his eyes were saying but one thing definitely I bow down to the person whose brainstorm it was to show this scene so passionately, sensuously & romantically!! It was almost erotic! And it was nice to see Geet getting bold & Maan's noticing that & his unsaid dialog must have created havoc within her. 😃 But what I liked was his assuring her immediately not to be afraid about what she said!! The entire scene was beautiful, I don't know where to start & where to end. 😆 Its better we stick to our imaginations to feel this scene! 😉

Now when he was washing her eyes with the water other than the intended impact there was another symbol working here. Water as we all know is prevalent in every stage of their lives & it has acted as a binding factor. Y'day after their declaration we didn't see the presence of water but it was there today & like always it brought them closer. And not only that the way Maan was washing her eyes wiping out her discomfort & unease showed the same way he will try to erase all her discomfort, unease, pain & suffering from her life. He will set her free from her pains & past. And this water will be the healing factor somehow to aid him in the process. Knowing Nissar & his work I am not surprised how he went ahead to portray this. And Geet will be with him all the way as she was today taking that petal out from his cheek stroking it thus implying her unstoppable faith & support to Maan! She will also urge herself to get rid of her past to help him out, to put him at peace. A wonderful symbolism done in such a romantic & loving way! Hats off CV's. 👏

If I was taken by the tub scene then the hospital scene simply blew me away!! It was the highlight for me, so touching, so loving, so caring!! Maan no wonder we love u so much!! His paternal journey has already begun!! He not only is looking after Geet, nurturing her but also is concerned about her baby, looking forward to its arrival!! The way he was looking at the baby picture I got a lump in my throat watching him! Seriously this is such a perfect guy in all respect! His compassion showed today surfacing so beautifully! Usually we don't see this side of Maan but today he outdid himself. The way he brought her in for a check up booking the entire ward for her ease & comfort was commendable. When he gestured her with his eyes to go ahead for the check up & everything will be alright I was all tears! Not everyday we see a guy like this, accepting a girl even after knowing she is pregnant with someone else's child, accepting the baby as his own all ready to give it his name & love, to be concerned for both the mom & baby, to take proper care of her...............this is so unbelievable!!

I sincerely hope through this show the awareness of such actions, care & nurture spread far & wide! Really because its a fiction Geet turned out to be so lucky & fortunate but in real life girls who r ill fated remain so no matter how innocent & pure they r from within! Thanks Nissar & Co for creating MSK, he is a complete package, every girl's dream come true!

The precap is wonderful as well, his realising his responsibilities after she declared her love & asking him will he be able to take care of her & her responsibilities was so heartwarming!! And I am so happy that finally Geet went & saw a doctor, had her check up!! Really or else this pregnancy was turning out to be a mysterious & magical pregnancy!! 😃 Finally the CV's addressed this issue.

About Dev I still am not getting a good vibe. I am not seeing enough remorse or repentance on his part. He is willing to see Geet but about other consequences he is still scared of, he doesn't want to tell Maan or face his wrath, he is going to office only to seek Geet not to look after family business, using Meera to his benefit..........not even once I saw within him a self accusation saying why did I do what I did with Geet, why did I rob her of her jewellery, property & honor! Just saying so I did it doesn't make u free of ur guilt & actions, one has to face the consequences, has to suffer both physically & mentally, have to help the person wronged, burn in the process of redemption & agony & only then he can be atoned. Right now I am not seeing this urgency to make amends in him & so am not too enthusiastic about his redemption or to give him a second chance. And Abhinav if u really want to make it big in tinsel town u will have to learn to emote, u r stuck up with one expression!!

Overall a very nice episode!! Once again my heartiest congratulations to the person who came up with the tub & hospital scene today!! They were splendid, simply brilliant. Keep up this wonderful work Nissar & as usual we will be here supporting & praising u all for all the effort u r putting in to put up such a beautiful show. And I know there were several editing issues today but for the moment will let that pass. But make sure this doesn't happen in near future. To create a perfect episode u have to make sure such faux pas doesn't happen!! Otherwise great work CV's!! 👍🏼
