I would have felt much better had he maybe looked at the skies...

Today it was proved to us yet again and probably in the most beautiful manner, that love is the most beautiful feeling. Maan and Geet - together, they give new meaning to emotions. My dearest friend -honeydew- aka DA has done a perfect job at describing how beautiful their confession was. 🤗My part here is to read between the lines in their hug scene.

I've never seen a more beautiful and a simpler yet deeper hug ever in my life before. After clearing out all misunderstandings, insecurities and confusion, they break into a hug..i loved how she clears out all those things that could possibly be coming in their way ...i wanted to make a post on this.. par only for u.. m sharing this here ...

-she first starts with how she thinks she doesnt deserve him-all those times she started with "aap bahut acche ho .. she wanted to perhaps say all this, but he was impatient.....

-then she talks about her being complicated, he lays her doubts to rest again.

-then she says she is not pure-this had been something that perhaps had been bothering her since forever.. she kept thinking the guy who loved her so much shd get the best and she for one didnt think she was...

-she reminds him of the responsiblities that come with her .. the excess baggage from the past she carries that she will continue to for the rest of her life.

-she feels much better after all this, but she asks him one last question ... the most important one ... his family-she knows what importance a family and its reputation holds to a person... she displayed total selflessness with this one aspect and i think she touches his heart deeply .. he assures her .. his family will be her family here on.. without saying it in those many words....

None wanted to rush into it

To-date, all their hugs were either not-intentional (1st hug in HP), unexpected (hug outside the dhaba) or forced or even in trance (discotheque). They took their time to get into the others arms willingly, not seemingly hesitant, shy or 'oh I would die if we don't hug right this minute'. There was no intensity or passion - only pure love. And we know, love can out do any other emotion that stands in its way. it was like they had all the time in the world now.. for each other .. with each other .. thats why she stopped him the moment he was about to say something against it...

It was mutual

No signs of hesitation, apprehension or confusion. Both felt the need for it at the same time. Their thoughts, feelings, souls were so connected. they are at that state of their relartionship where these things dont matter .. they are at total ease with one another... and i love Dhrasti and Gurmeet for making it look real.

She felt comfort around him

The way she moved her hands on his back and held him - It looked as if she was holding onto the most expensive treasure on earth. i wish i had a guy who loved me so......

He felt content

His expression, when he closed his eyes, were to say 'you are mine and I finally have you in my arms now'. It was such a feel good factor for him. For a split millisecond he held onto her fearing he would lose her but he opened his eyes to confirm that she was indeed here to stay with him. The way his arms took her completely was to say that he too had found his treasure and would dare not lose it come rain come shine, now that it (the treasure) stopped playing hide and seek. i could give a million bucks to get a hug like that .. but alas money cant buy these things ....

They were at peace - finally

The tear and the smile on her face only showed how lighthearted she felt to have said it all and still be able to hold the treasure she thought she didn't deserve. The last frame where she smiles and he looks up not seemingly at anything in particular showed how much they were at peace. It clearly looked as if their mind had come to a standstill finally - shoeing away any thoughts that would disturb this profound feeling they never thought existed and all they did was take in every millisecond of this new awareness between them.

we are at peace too .. we wantede it... we waited for it .. and it was worth the wait DD ....i cant believe i found such an amazing pal in you in the process... so thank you Maaneet

I hope they start the episode tomorrow with the continuation of their hug.
