Today's episode was the epitome of perfection in every way – direction, acting, story, setting, camera, music, editing, dubbing, costume, makeup ….everything !

A standing ovation to Nissar, Gurmeet, Drashti, Barry, Swati, Hrishikesh et al !

History was made today in how to execute an exquisitely perfect confession of love.

You guys just blew me away …. Straight to heaven !

Scene - 1

Every girl's million dollar question – what to wear on the date !
Geet confused as to how to dress up for the date…looks adorable self talking
Maan sends a driver to pick her up.

Scene -2 – The Big Kahuna

Date is at a campsite …perfect setting, in harmony with nature, - lakeside, campfire, tent, table-n-chairs, moonlight….and Maaneet in white attire ! Haiyee, mein mar jawaan !

The dialogues in this scene are something to die for - straight from the heart, hard-hitting, mind-blowing !

Maan sir !!! (Hopefully this is the last time we'll hear her say Sir !)

Maan comes from behind and says CHUP !!!:-)

Maan notices her high heels…Geet tries to justify her costume. Maan says he wanted to be in a place where they cud talk peacefully. As she moves away, Geet twists her ankle on the high heels. Maan picks her up and lovingly places her on the campsite chair.
Geet too looks at him so adoringly ! <Ssssiiiigggghhhh>

Maan bends down and lovingly takes off her shoes. Geet is spellbound.

Loved instrumental Mahi in the BG , followed by the old Mahi right from HP remember? Nissar has tried to bring together every minute detail of Maaneet in this scene to make it extra special…superb touch Nissar !

Maan asks why heels…she says, bcoz u like girls in heels.i

M - Geet tum mujhe ab tak nahin samajh payee ho. Tumhe mujhe impress karne ki koi jaroorat nahi kyun ki mein bahut dino pehle hi impress ho chukka tha thumari saddgi se…hamare rishte ki buniyaad hi yeh saadgi hai.

Yaad hai geet aise hi jagh pe hum pehle mile the. Wo din kitna alag tha na Geet…bina kisi bandish ke hum kaise judey they to fir kyun mein zabardasti se tumhe baandhne ki koshish kar raha hoon, kyun mein apne shabdo se kuch jodne ki koshish kar raha hoon. Geet, wherneve we sit totalk we fight , right? When we sit like this there is no need for words. My fault, that I'm pressuring u, rushing u but Geet when we have our whole life ahead of us, I will wait my whole life for u , its not like that after today….n Geet stops him…Bas ! Aage kuch mat kahiyega …aap kabhi galat ho hi nahi saktey…galat to mein hun…

M - Geet u crying? I thot u would like my talk…had no intention of hurting u…if u still felt bad, I apologise, I'm sorry but don't cry…wipes her tears…Geet is touched…good BG music.

Geet is probably the only person to whom Maan has said sorry to , not once but 3 times. Such is the power of love !

Geet -I'm at fault, unable to tell u my heart's desire…how can i give u the saadgi u looking for… my life is so messed up…

Then Geet wants to find out if she has the 'haq' ….
- dar lagta hai ke yeh jo khushiyaan bahein phaila kar mere samne khade hain unhe apnaneka haq hai bhi ya nahi,

- jo ehsaas mere man mein hai, unhe mehsoos karneka mujhe haq hai bhi ya nahin

- kisi aur ko apni zindagi mein shamil karne ka haq hai ya nahi

Maan rushes to her and says haq hai Geet, haan.

Geet - But my life is not my own I'm an unwed mother (bin byaahi maa bannewali hoon), mere saath…Maan interrupts her….mein jaanta hoon Geet, tumhari zimmedariyon ko samajtha bhi hoon.

Geet – Par ye zimmedari kya aap apki zindagi mein shamil kar payenge ? yeh itna aasan nahi hoga …aap bahut achche hai ..aapko kai behetar ladkiya milegi, jinki zindagi itne uljhi hui nahi ho, jinka bhavishya saaf ho, jinke ateet meing koi daag na ho, … jo pavitra ho.

Maan understands, what's eating her up inside. He holds her by her shoulders and says, Aur tum se pavitra kaun hoga geet ? Geet looks up at him, shocked. Sees the sincerity in his eyes .

Maan– Shayad tumne meri baat dhyaan se suni nahi Geet, mein tumhe pehle bhi keh chukka hoon , ke tum jaisi ho waise hi achchi ho. ..tumse behtar kaun ho sakta hai. Aur mere liye pavitrata ke maine tumhi ho Geet., haan. Geet is overwhelmed.

Maan trying to lighten her mood, says, par ek baat hai geet, tum thodi uljhi hui ho, tumhe samajna thoda mushkil hai, Geet is distractedand says, meine aapse pehle hi kahaa tha…and walks aways….Maan stops her, hold her hand…but does not yank her or hurt her.

Maan – tumhari yeh uljhane zindagi ko jeene laayak banaati hai Geet, har pal badalti ho tum, tumhara hastey hastey rona to kabhi rotey rotey hasna , kabhi shaant to kabhi chanchal , agle pal tumhari zindagi mein kya hone wala hai yeh koi nahin jaanta….aur yehi baat mujhe achchi lagti hai tumhari Geet aur tumhare saat zindagi badi dilchasp hogi.

Could u have ever dreamt of such a confession ? Barry, Swati –hats off to you !!

Geet still has doubts about his family. But ur family, doesn't know abt me…tomorrow at the engagement they will ask abt my family what will u answer…Maan says, Geet logon ke sawalonki parwah nahi hai mujhe Geet,,,,I've already told Dadima that you don't have anyone one except me. N Dadima will not ask much about this…just like I value her happiness, her happiness is in seeing me happy.

Now all Geet's doubts are cleared. She is now ready to take the step….
Geet - Aap itne achche kyun hai…aapne mere liye kya kuch nahin kiya , aur mere pas aapko den eke liye kuch bhi nahin …. Siva ek cheez ke …aaj mein aapko kisi bandhan mein baandhna chaahti hoon…Maan still staring at her trying to decode her words…..she holds out her palm with the taveez in it….he looks at it and recognition dawns on him….HP fb….she puts the taveez like a var maal on Maan…Maan bows his head … in total submission and accepts it…..oyee Union of Souls shaadi ho gayee !! koi shehnaai bajaao !

M looks at the taveez and says….yeh taveez hame hamesha jodthi aye hai…
G – aur aaj ke baad zindagi bhar baandke rakhegi
M – holds out his hand n repeats 'zindagi bhar' .. a promise.
M – ab zindagi ki har subah tumse shuru hogi, aur har raat tumse khatam
G – zindagi ki har subah aapse shuru hogi , aur har raat aap par khatam

The HUG !!!!

The utter look of happiness and contentment on their faces, especially Maan's is priceless. !! Geet is happy and secure in his arms. Maan's finally holding the precious thing in the world in his arms, looks up at nature thankfully, finally at peace !

Scene – 3 – Deveera
Sorry, but don't wanna analyze …except got the feeling that Meera will become Geet's ally in the Dev-Geet confrontation … let's wait n see !

Nissar, Gurmeet, Drashti, Barry, Swati, Hrishikesh et al – showering kisses, flowers and chocolates on you all !!!
