I think they are both just good actors.

it is nothing like that as such...Gurti are very comfortable with one another.....has has kissed her on the eyes.....ect...ect....u know durin the pee loon sequence....

it is jus that this scene wasn't supposed to be that passionate....it was more of a planned thing Maan had to make geet realize.....

this whole scene was to show us Geet's reactions....but maan's.....

and even that was the reason why when he wanted to kiss Geet.....on the nape....they only showed Geet's reaction and the fire.....because this scene was to make her confess....

Gurti did an amazing job.....and plus Gurmeet had to act uncomfy as Maan....because he doesn't want this to get any further YET.....not until she confesses her true feelings....not until they are married.

they seem very comfortable with each other, however a little un comfortability was needed as they were so close for the first time.
