I think the deed was done.... but, will we ever know for sure? Usually, all doubts are cleared when the girl gets pregnant..here, that's not possible....

So I guess we'll never know unless the cvs take pity on us and tells us one way or the other.

As for how well the two actors did the scene...I think they were hampered by bad direction or simply a case of poor editing..we are always expecting that now-a-days aren't we?

The actors did an ok job under the circumstances but a little discomfort was obvious in dhrasti's expressions towards the end. Gurmeet looked stoic and concentrating on his job as though he was dealing with a tough piece of homework....

Must say i've seen more natural and sensual love scenes on Indian TV before.

ur so ryte...iqbal and ksg have done them gr8 fervor...guru culd ve but seemed like something held him back...i wonder what it was? it could ve set the screen on fire...literally!
i wish guru sees this and works on it...atleast do justice to the not-so-explicit scenes...😉..baaki iss se ziada toh hum log bhi kuch nahi maangte...
dmg haters might hate me..but yea man..ksg does put sensuality in sensous scenes..abhi toh khair dmg ka khyaal aate hi i think of a kasai-khaana(butcher house)....

oke 2 things...
1.... why cant a pregnant woman have S**....although I think they just made out....nothing else...
2. why compare other actor with each other.... Gurmeet did good...why he stayed in his role as MSK....who isnt a open person', a a bit stiff...his feelings are showed trough his eyes....so I think he did his scene very well...

Oh my God - thanks for agreeing. Everytime I mention DMG and KSG I have to go undercover ... these days, it IS a qasaai khana - well said.

And yeah, sensual is the right word. Iqbal Khan and KSG did it right - they didn't DO anything, but their expressions did a whole lot. The one I'll always remember is the Iqbal Khan one where he puts lipstick in her maang - that was one helluva scene - amazing acting by him - amazing editing, and amazing dialogues.

I believe GC has the capability - his jewelry taking off scene was very good, I thought. Extremely sensual. BUt the one I love the best is when he came back from London (he was sick actually ;)) and she goes on and on about how he never thought of her, and just left and he shuts her up by putting a finger to her lips - that whole scene was only one dialogue from him, and was amazing, I thought. His delivery was awesome, and his expressions changed 10 times, from surprise that she noticed, to suprise that she was affected by it, to acceptance that she was, and then the determination to let her know what he was feeing - 'mein ek raat tumhare paas nahi tha, to tumhe bura laga (or something like that), or tum jo mujhe humesha ke liye chorney ki baat karti ho' ... I dunno about anyone else, but that scene, and the one where he keeps on trying to bait her with the earrings for Pari or where to take her for dinner - those two showed great acting skills from him. I dunno what happened to him these last few episodes ...

I think GC kept those stern expressions deliberately because in this scene,he was actually trying to test geet's true feelings. remember that he is actually a little angry with her and confused because of her 'jhoothi mangetar' thing,at the same time he is attracted to her,so he was supposed to give those awkward expressions,he was not meant to give those soft romantic expressions in the scene,I think the whole uncomfort and awkwardness between them was done deliberately for the scene, otherwise,GC is perfectly capable of doing soft romantic scenes as well, like u mentioned, the jewellery scene and the one where he comes after his London flight gets cancelled.I would like to add a few more-the jhumka scene after the kehna hi kya sequence-he was so romantic while he put that jhumka, and also the pee loo sequence-he had such beautiful soft expressions on his face.

hehe, me not a DMG/ KSG hater but have to say this. GC and Maan actually make it look better coz when they do it, it looks like a man (you know one of the those 'seen everything in life') doing it. whereas with KSG it is like a hot guy..
having saif that i dont think GC has issues doing bold scenes... he mentioned all of that for an article to be circulated in newspaper which has a huge reach. they couldnt afford to alienate the various mummys watching the show (trust me, my work in media has aquainted me with these 40 year old gushing over 'hai Maan'!!!!). since they are imp for the ratings.
anyway, what i actiually wanted to ask was 'did they do it'? i thought it had been establushed they hadnt, but that Telly tadka article said that they realize their love 'parineeta' style. so they did do it.
so opening the question again...
what do you think?

Hmmm, haven't read the article, so didn't know that was said. But based on the soaps I have seen, and the implications/subtle hints used to get a point/event/milestone across - I'd say there's a very strong possibility they did it. I do wish they had made it clearer, and IF they did do it - then I wish Maan's expressions were a bit better. Coz no one looks so stoic, with an expression of such concentration, in a romantic setting, let alone one of such intensity.
But yeah, I think I can play the 'done it or not' argument both ways - Geet's eyes closing, and the picture getting vague implies they did it -
Their stoic expressions, and their ability to express so much more, says we'd see obvious signs if they had done it ... specially the fact that they were completely clothed ... still.
Sorry, didn't quite answer your question, but did put forth backings for both sides of the argument ... may be we should all wait to figure out what happened ..
