Also loved the new outfit and the necklace by MAAN!!!! Looks like another nice episode coming up 😍
Due to the lack of time I will make this short.
September 22nd episode was EXCELLENT! That is exactly what I wanted to see. I wanted a serious conversation between Maan and Geet. I wanted to see how their relationship had transformed since they had really gotten engaged. My most favorite scene was obviously the conversation they had by the fountain. I loved the part where Geet splashed water on his face and then backed off in fright! What was even better, was that Maan did not react in angry young man mode but in lover boy mode.
What I loved about today's epi'.
1. The comfort level between Maan and Geet, because Maan takes her dupatta and wipes his face with so much authority. He has changed. Initially he was angry but looking at her frightened face, he relaxes and does the complete opposite of what we would expect.
2. There is still awkwardness between them, because Maan instantly snapped out of his mood when he was talking about how the "pani" always connected them. He may have thought she was getting uncomfortable. There is still hesitation.
3. Geet ask Maan straight up if her past bothers him. He gives her an apt answer! Now her doubts will begin to clear and she can happily accept their new relationship.
4. Geet's first signs of acceptance, "aapke kushi se barkar aab meri liye kuch nahin hain". She says to him, that now she is about to begin a new life (with him) and Maan smiles. That was perfect!
5. Geet reflects on why she did not tell Maan. Cv's thank you for clarifying that one of the reasons she did not tell him is because this was her battle. Yes Maan will be there to help, but only to help. Geet herself has to get justice. I hope everyone who complained that Geet did everything with Maan's support, is happy now. She will fight her battle herself.
6. Geet being protective of Maan. Just be aware that this protectiveness will come out again when Geet discovers the truth about Dev being Maan's brother. She may know the truth and decide not to tell Maan because she does not want to take away his happiness. Like we saw in today's' epi. There is a reason they showed that Geet was worried for him. During the time when the truth comes out, she will be thinking if he was this angry when he didn't know it was Dev then what will he do when he finds out the culprit is his own brother? He will be broken, he will blame himself in some way, he will be more furious than ever before. Now, you can see why Geet might be a bit concerned fro him. Remember, these two are always willing to go to any lengths for each other. But no worries, Maan will find out one way or another.
7. Maan respecting the fact that the decision to punish Dev is Geet's and promising he won't interfere if she didn't want him to.
Dev/Meera Scene ' This was interesting. I don't know if I'm imagining this or if it happening for real. I think I have some idea as to where this is going. It is almost time for the truth to out in front of Geet. Like I said before, Meera will be the catalyst that will set this in motion.
BTW, why does Geet still call Maan "sir"? They are engaged now!
Precap ' Don't need to say anything about this. I'm sure everyone will wake up from the fainting spell after they finally see that scene.
To all who don't believe in symbolism'.
Whoever says they don't see or believe in symbolism is lying. Now wait! Don't attack me yet. Just so all of you know, the world runs on symbolism. I'm not saying this, this is something anthropologist actually research in different cultures. Let me make it simple, if you are human you always see symbolism, which is how you understand the world. Let me give you an example, think about the color red. What does it mean to you? What impression does it give you? The color red symbolizes stop, danger, rage, passion, love, sex, fire, life, and power. This is what most of you connect the color red to. That too, without thinking that it is a symbol at all. But you think these things when it is only a color! So tell me if that is not symbolism, what is it? Still not convinced? Okay, let's think of the sindoor that hindu women put on their forehead after they are married. Now tell me is that not a symbol of something? What about the country flag? I know you see the symbols behind these. What a person sees in a symbol is an individual perspective. Either you see something or you don't. Everything is open to interpretation. Lastly, everyone takes entertainment in their own way; some of us like to just watch episodes of the show without thinking too much about it, while others like to analyze the meaning in the story. But does that mean someone can say to stop seeing these symbols and just watch the episode in a simple way? No. Nor does it mean that the person who does see a symbol could tell the other there is a symbol for sure. Only the creator knows the answer to that. Whether there is symbolism or not is beside the point; it's what you want to see. Vision is up to the individual, so no one can tell another to see or not see the symbolism in a story. Long story short, you don't like symbolism, then choose what you read in all the analysis just like you choose what you see.
Over all the episode was brilliant! 10/10. 👏 👏👏👏👏👏Loved the serious convo. That was very necessary. We want growth in Maan and Geet's relationship. We want to see how they tackle the issues in their relationship as a couple now.
