@Opti...okay here is what i think why Maan continued to drive....so lets see Maan is an egoist...his ego is hurt big time...he knows Geet is guilty of hiding the truth...and he is taking advantage of that fact...he knows that Geet feels guilty...and he wants her to come after him...to cajole him...to coax him to listen to her...bcoz he wants this assurance that he is the most important person in Geets life...i think i have said it earlier as well that he is too absorb in his hurt...he is self-centered like that...thats his flaw...he judges the world by another paraphernalia and has seperate one for himself....in his current state( when he was driving away) he would not pay attention to Geets condition unless or until she is physically harmed or threatened......so when he was driving away his whole attention was occupied by his own feelings and hurt...concern for Geet was pushed back...and when u are hurt u want to lash out at the person who hurt u...so he just wanted to hurt Geet a lil emotionally.

Okay why did he stopped the car when Geet vanished ?

thats coz he knows that Geet at this point was determined to talk to him...she came all the way to the office and bear the brunt of his harshness and still tried to speak to him...so she would keep chasing him until one of them give up.....Geet herself wouldnt give up...bcoz its her love is on line here...so theres only two reasons why she would have stopped chasing him

a) she is physically hurt

b) she is threatened of physical harm

so as soon as she vanished he knew something happened to her thats why he stopped.

and i personally think he has some attachment issues going on...like anxious ambivalent attachment thing going on...that he wants her close but at the same time dont wanna be comforted by her
