Am feeling too melancholy today!! No Nissar not because the episode was bad but because of the precap I saw!! Somehow it just brought out all the pathos in one instant & it stayed with me leaving me all pensive! Thanks to Doodle, we shared our grief together & felt better after that. Thanks girl!
Now before I venture to write about the show I want to put some words about the hue & uproar that we r hearing about certain articles that have come to our notice where questions r being posed to the channel about the contents of its shows. I can't be a spokesperson of any other show but as far as Geet is concerned I can vouch for its credibility!
All around us we see shows where boy meets girl kind of love stories r showcased which later changes to saas-bahu pot boilers. Is there any social messages in them?? I don't think so! All we see r innumerable premarital & extra-marital affairs, multiple marriages of the lead couples, omnipotent & omnipresent villains & vamps & this is what our modern generation usually watches & gains their knowledge, values & morals from?! Wonderful & we r proud to call ourselves Indians!
And here we have Geet which has so many social issues to offer us which will bring awareness to the masses about the current situations of our country & what r we asked to do, look away because the moral police thinks we r shown immoral stuff in indecent way which will be harmful to our views, values, ethics, culture & heritage. And here I thought I had parents to look after me when I was young guiding me through the phases of my youth teaching me right from the wrong!
We r shown the fate & tragedy of girls in general who r looked upon as hindrances in a family. Female genocide is still being practiced in India in parts of Punjab, Rajasthan, UP & Bihar! It is such a major issue now in Bihar area that the villages have fallen short of girls & now the groom's side have to pay dowry to get a girl from a far away village! Total ratio imbalance in the gender has taken place! The girls r not given the priority to learn & educate themselves, all they r taught is household work just to groom themselves to get a future husband! We see Geet having an yearning of her own to study & whatever she is today it is because of her own effort & hard work.
Today these fake NRI marriages so popular specially in parts of Punjab, it is a major issue & this was brought forward by Geet. It opened our eyes about the condition of those poor girls who have been victims of this vicious cycle! And what happens after these marriages r girls get pregnant & either they end up in dingy doctor's table to have a hushed abortion or if the time frame is too late they r killed in name of saving the honor. And yes it is still popular in advanced country like India. So these moral police, r they willing to take some action against these?? No they r busy showing their importance & credibility by policing on the audience!! For the 1st time we see this in Geet & realise the plight of women back there in general who has undergone this similar situation.
So instead of hooting & clapping we r being regressed in name of culture & heritage by the so-called moral police! And we live in a democratic country where the government is by the people, for the people & of the people.......hope we have not forgotten this? Then why r we being told what to watch & what not to! R we kids? Last time I checked my birth certificate, it said I am an adult & can take my own decision & as for the minors well they have their parents to look after them & they can be guided as to what show they can watch or can't! Why do these organisations & parties taking up the headaches on their behalf?
Don't we have Right to the Freedom of media & press back in India?? How can they be told what to show & what not to? Its the channels prerogative to show a serial with taste & decency. And I am sure Geet is being told perfectly to all of us with all the proper decorum. And to uphold these issues with all its intended seriousness the show has to be told in a light hearted interesting manner so that it can grip the interest of its audience. And the medium for these messages is Romance which every1 can relate to & love to watch! If the show devoid of any humor & romance was brought to the audience do u all think it would have gained so much of popularity as it has? Would it be the number one show of the channel? Would the people have loved it so much so as to make it garner the highest TRP's?? I think not!
So Star One, 4 Lions, Endemol, Nissar no matter what pressure u r put under just follow ur heart & do what ur heart tells u to! The moment u will give in to these senseless & baseless demands not only the creativity will be lost but u will be under their command forever! They don't give u the TRP's but the audience does & if we had problems with ur show then we wouldn't have made it so popular. We r with u & will be there in future as well as long as u keep doing this great work & keep the essence of Geet like in present. We love the story, the characters, the acting, the romance, the creativity behind the show & all ur hard work that comes across to us in our living room & that is the reason we take so much of time everyday to pen down our thoughts, wishes & suggestions in our analysis. So please keep up this good work & remember the romance is the main USP of the show & for which it makes the story & show so appealing. So be a trendsetter to others to follow u in this with pride & joy.
Ok now to the episode! Loved the continuation from where they left off! As I said y'day don't go by the precap it will be misleading!! That 'I hate U' was so not meant for Geet! Maan can't give her tears, can't see her in tears, in pain, in sadness, he thus hates to see her in torture & hates himself for feeling so!! It was so convincing himself as I said y'day that he has to reiterate it so many times to persuade himself to believe that he doesn't love her. We all know Love & Hate r 2 sides of the same coin & today MSK proved it! Another bravo touch Nissar.
And he openly tells her that he is doing this all for her when asked by Geet. Not for dadi but her, he knows Geet needs him & his support & strength to carry on & in spite of not wanting to he is doing it & why do u think it is so?? Because he hates her.....yeah right?? Its so so Love & that too unconditional love! Loved that gesture of Geet when she went to touch his face to wipe that pain away from him & he stops her not because he doesn't want her to but he knew if he lets her then he won't be able to stop, not her but himself!! He would want more & that he couldn't afford to at that moment. And as usual brilliant acting by both GC & DD. 👍🏼
Only one point that cropped up in my mind, wasn't Maan's attire too casual for office wear? I am so accustomed to see him in vests over his shirts that I felt he looked too casual & ungroomed for a professional place.
Anyway Sasha up to her tricks! When is she going to be exposed? Will she all the time have an upper hand over MSK? I don't understand why is she given so much of liberty? And today at one point she calls him Maan as well! I want to see this girl get her due just as Maan gave his royal treatment to NT. I want to see Sasha too in that receiving end soon! 😃
That office segment looked a little juvenile all throughout as far as the planning was concerned but then it was Geet & so I will let it go, she is a combination of impulse & whims but with a presence of mind. So it can be expected from her. But what I liked here was Maan's struggle within himself to forget Geet, to wipe her memories off of his mind & yet unable to! And the union of souls is so apparent here, he feels her presence all around the office even without knowing she is there. That is heart calling heart, soul calling soul!! The pathos on his face was too obvious when he stands on one side of the door frame & Geet on the other side, I liked that pose. Hands almost touching both feeling the pain in their hearts to be apart from one another. But at one point of time I thought Maan will turn & notice her, they were pretty close! And this is the 4th time we saw tears in his eyes!! And her dupatta as usual with its love for Maan makes its way to Maan to let him know of her presence! If Taveez always brings them together then I would say so does her dupatta! 😆 And I liked the fact that Maan had tears in his eyes & her dupatta went involtarily to wipe that pain off from him, to take his tears away. 👏
And finally Geet's resolution to tell him the truth by hook or crook! She saw his pain, his hurt, his heart bleeding, his dilemma, his helplessness, his melancholy, his solitude & thus decided to relieve him of all that! Another instance of selfless love! Go girl, finally u took my suggestion! 😃 Ok I will omit Dev & Myra's segment, didn't find anything suggestive there other than they r bonding or rather Myra is taking her chance to be close with him.
Again that entire conference room scene was done very immaturely but again knowing Geet its totally understandable! 😃 It looked more like fun specially with Adi & Pinky's aid! At Least she got him in the conference room somehow, that is what matters. And Geet u were supposed to get that door fixed such a long time back & u still didn't get to it?? 😆 Ok an added advantage in the situation!
Now one thing I think Nissar did was this conference room setting deliberately! Last time conference room brought a major change in their relationship status quo! She showed her trust in him by locking it herself & after that incident came out stronger learning to cope with people & their talks courtesy to Maan! She gained a new phase in life then & this time too she is entering a new phase in her life by committing herself to Maan gifting him with her heart & soul!
On the other hand last time I saw a major change in Maan in the conference room! Before that he knew he was attracted to her against his wishes but on that night for the 1st time he felt the urge to love her, to need her, to want her & that made a new opening in his heart. After that we know what happened, the dhaba night, it changed him forever. This time also he will be out of that room a changed man! With Geet in his arms, holding her, soothing her, supporting her, he will be the anchor of her life giving her strength & love that she was looking for! So yes this place will play an important role & I am sure Nissar brought them back here deliberately! A circle of love enveloping them starting at a point & ending at the same point.
Another incident Geet in green again, now I know why the other day Maan made a reference to her about her wearing the green dress 1st day in office! Now I get the connection! Green symbolises something that is unripe, still growing! She wore that color 1st day in office signifying she has just started there & will grow on Maan & today also she is in green symbolising a new beginning in their lives. And that gifting of the green dress was also a first time of Maan gifiting her anything & her testing him whether he cares or not all indicates a new begnning in their relationship! I don't know whether it was deliberate or not but somehow with Nissar I feel like he works in symbols! So maybe or maybe not!
Liked the confidence in Geet when she told him I locked the room & who knows about the keys to ur room & heart! She was casual & yet scared to see his reaction then! And this is the 1st time I noticed Maan wasn't aware of her without a dupatta or he would have looked away immediately! What does this signify? Well he is now way comfortable enough to see her without a dupatta, he has progressed in their relationship so much, he has even taken the liberty to change her y'day & Geet also so comfortable without one in front of him. She can be without this cloak of honor only in front of him & only he has the right to upheld it & put it back on her. I liked this a lot.
Then her request ot hear her out & the decision will be his & here I loved it again because MSK was back in action with a renewed vigorous force! Oh yes no body can override in taking decisions over MSK & that is a default! And then the next comment because she has lost her right to take any decisions between them.........bang on MSK again with the attitude, reinforcement, arrogance, aggression, pride & ego! He gave her the liberty before to take decisions between them but now she has lost it & I am sure after tomorrow he himself will be asking her to take all the decisions regarding their life. And look at the irony here, though he says she can't take any decision but its her who has got him in that room against his will! So whose decision was it? 😃 Tomorrow will be crucial & I don't know what will I do!
The precap moved me so much today that I was in tears myself! So tomorrow I won't be surprised if my dam of tears break & I will be sitting under a pile of tissues. I got reminded again of what torment, torture, tumult, she went through in her turbulent life for no fault of hers. She will be pouring her heart out to him! Maybe will cry her heart out as well for the first time so openly baring her soul! And Maan will be in an impasse situation not knowing how to go about finding & punishing that person who is Geet's culprit for all she went through!! Oh Dev u r so gone!! **rubbing hands in glee** 😃
I know it will be a roller coaster ride tomorrow & both DD & GC will excel in the episode. And looking forward to MSK's resolution to bring justice to her, will watch out for that. That will be some amazing acting on Guru's part for sure.
Now Nissar there r 2 sincere requests I want to make! In between Geet's revelation of her past to Maan PLS DON'T BRING DEV & MYRA!! U can show them beginning of the show or end of it but pls not in between, the continuity & the intensity will break & it will lose its impact! So pls keep it in mind.
And 2ndly we all know the declaration of their love to each other is coming soon & I don't want Maan to say the cliche ILU to Geet! It won't be MSK to me! Yeah he can say 'Can I be the father of ur child' or 'our child?' as Doodle have mentioned many times earlier! Also he can say 'mujhe tumhare pyar se, mohabbat pe, ishq ho gaya hai', or 'kya tum mere saath puri zindagi guzarna chahogi mere humsafar banke?' or 'mere dil mein, dhadkan mein, saanson mein, aatmaan mein tum bas chuki ho Geet' or 'meri zindagi tumhare bina adhoori hai Geet, mujhe tumhari pyar ki zaroorat hai'......u know something along similar line which will leave an impact on the viewers, its being so unique!
That is it for today!! Phewwwww! A long one like always!! Now will go & read the other wonderful takes.
