Thanks for yet another lovely post Thesaint...you have perfectly worded Maan's feelings. He is a survivor...so what if there is turbulance...so what if the wind is adverse....at least we know this man is honest not only to others but to himself. Remember earlier when he was in denying mode, he used to deny every feeling of his towards Geet but now he has accepted the fact that he loves her...and not only that he cannot see her hurt. He knows that she needs him. what he still does not know is that she loves him too. He thinks she was in love with somebody whoes child she is carrying and may be still in love with that guy. Our Maan needs assurance and acceptance....for which he was pleading to Geet...Bolo Geet Bolo...but alas! He is not letting Geet speak because he can't bear Geets association with other man and her past does have a man. He is avoiding that past. ...he had promised her that he will not let her past come near her and hurt her. but now that past only is hurting him so much. and when I say he is honest to himself he want to support Geet not by any obligation but is compled by his love for her. He has accepted that fact that he love her and nothing just nothing stands before that love not even he himself. He is enduring his pain and agony just to take care of her. One fact he has honestly accpted is ...meri jindagi tumhare bina adhuri hai.....And this what makes Maan an honest and truthful man.
