her a glass of plain water and he runs a finger gently down her face
and Geet flinch..
GEET: Nahii..(she said,rubbing her cheek) Since you ask,I'm not
alright' Kyuu Maan..Kyuu?? Why can't you just leave me alone !!?
(her voice starts to wobble) It's just been' awful!Today were
supposed to be my day' Aur tum.. Why did you come ?? (she cry
frustratedly)
For a while they sit in silence' A bird is wheeling round and round overhead, and in the distance they can hear the band playing 'Bin Tere' (IHLS)' There's a part of Geet that wants to sit there, making small talk for as long as they can' But another part of her is thinking, what's the point of putting it off any longer?,There's only one thing she wants to know' Geet feel a spasm of nerves in her stomach, but somehow force herself to take a deep breath and turn to him....
GEET : What do you know about love?? What love means to you?? (her voice
is suddenly serious) Why me?? Why you chose me?? (her voice is
suddenly serious)
They staring at each other for a long time without speaking'

MAAN: (sighed, in husky voice) People who love each other end up reuniting
(he said at last)..and no matter how far apart they are, they will
reunite in the end' Love is something that returns' (his dark eyes
search Geet's face)
Suddenly, Geet feels her face flaming red, she was speechless,out of wordss... She look at him in surprise at the same time feeling ridicolously shy' Maan reaching out a hand to pull Geet to her feet... As he pull her up, she feels a slight swooping in her stomach'He smells nice too' Some expensive aftershave which Geet don't recognize' For a moment, neither of them says anything' Then, he takes both of her hands and squeezes them tight and continue saying, ...
MAAN: Perhaps he may have loved her more than I did... However, this does
not mean that I loved her any less".... Geet'. I loved you to death, I
still love you to death and I'll continue loving you to death, until we
meet again... Leaving you for 3 months was the biggest mistake of my
life but at the same time make me realized that my life is incomplete,
full of emptiness without you, Geet' (his eyes expression are full of
regrets and guilty) I'm already used to you , Geet'..
For a moment Geet too taken aback to speak, unable to speak' She blush furiously and had a little tears..It's as though something heavy is slowly lifting from her' She is not sure what to think or feels'
GEET : Geet'(she took a deep breath).... But what life will you have with
me??
For a while longer they're both silent.... Maan reaches for Geet's hand, she let him take it... Maan gives Geet a long look and Geet stare back helplessly....
MAAN : We will creates new memories, Geet'. Life has memories and there is no
life without you,Geet' We will not let our past harm and jeopardize
our present and future live again..(in deep voice) Geet'No matter
how our tomorrow is, we will make it beautiful together (he cupped her
face lovingly) But if you are not with me then' I have no today or tomorrow
(he said after paused,had little tears in his eyes) ' So Will you give me my
tomorrow?? .....
Geet look at Maan for a few silent moments, feeling rather cold, it almost hurts.. Geet doesn't know what to do or what to think at that moment' By sending Maan away from her life would be the right thing to do she thoughts' But Geet feels bad at the same time, as she doesn't want Maan to leave either' Suddenly they saw lightening and hears a thunder' After few minutes later, it started to rain and Geet tried to run away inside but Maan held her and made his grip tighter on her' Maan's fingers on her waist were making Geet shiver more than the cold rain' Geet was looking even more beautiful with raindrops covering her face and her wet hair he thought' Maan gazing at Geet with his an instense eyes expression, and Geet stares back at him nervously and feel her heart begin to pound' Geet throat grew dry and she swallowed hard' The air crackled with electricity, and Maan's dark brown gaze locked with hers'
A slow, sexy grin eased up the corner of Maan's mouth, and for a second Geet wondered if she'd be able to handle this temptation and desire' The noise of thunder and lightining faded and time stood still'Maan moved closer, so close Geet could feel the warmth of his body and inhale the spicy scent of his cologne' They were face-to-face, his mouth a mere heartbeat away' Geet sees Maan had tears of pain in his eyes' As if he's trying to say something to her through his eyes expression' Geet just cant afford to be weak in front of Maan... She doesn't want Maan to see her weakness but somehow Maan's tears make her even more helpless and restless'...
MAAN: (in deep voice) Bolo naa Geet' ( he said at last) Will you give my
tomorrow??
An ache of wanting wrapped itself around Geet, surprising her with its intensity' Maan breathed her name' Geet paused and blinked, shaking her head slightly as if to clear it' Her eyes took on a distant look, and when she moved back, Maan knew he had lost her' His heart fluttered like a trapped butterfly' There's shocked awkward silence' Maan stare helplessly at Geet, feeling his face turn slightly red' For a moment, neither of them says anything' Then Geet says calmly, ......
GEET: I don't want to be hurt anymore' Besides, we're engaged because of
a contract.. It was a wrong start... (long paused) Let's just end it
here... Let's just end it... I want it to be over' (tears start rolling
down her cheeks again)...
Slowly Maan walks towards Geet, until he's standing just in front of her' Geet can just smell the scent of his aftershave, and hear the crisp cotton rustle of his shirt as he moves' Geet whole body's prickling with anticipation' He stops, and there's a sharp, waiting silence' Geet heart's thudding in her chest, her hands are twisted in a nervous knot' She don't dare look at him for a second' But when she looks up, meet Maan's eyes, and something fearful starts to pound within her'
GEET : I don't know, Maan'(she said at last) Everything happens so
quickly'I never stopped loving you ' (she said after long paused)
I'm just scarred' (she said in crying tone)....
MAAN: Of what, Geet?? (confused)...
GEET: Of loosing you' I can't imagine myself waking up everyday
without seeing you again' (crying even more while saying this)...
