@Anj and all the other who are for Geet: My munda is smart, it is all your stupid Kudies fault.
Here is my take on it.
Anyways after reading all your takes on the episode, I even went and re-watched yesterday's episode to see if I missed anything. And once more I have to say my Munda is right and Geet is wrong.
I don't hate her, please people remember when Munda was after her in full force during the Pari time, and she was running away from him, and he didn't listen to what she was saying, I was the first person to yell at him for being dense.
Let me put my points down:
1. Geet self talk: it started right, and then went horribly wrong- she gets flash backs and remembers Munda telling her that his life is incomplete without her, him telling her there is someone in his heart not Pari (the disco incident), him talking about taqdir. All going in the right direction. She thinks if she should tell him the truth. I was jumping up and down screening -Yes! Yes! Yes! and then she does a total 180, is she bi-polar? Oh! he has been trying to say something, trying? are you kidding me, the munda told you already, and once again Geet is all about finding out what is in his heart. 😕
Munda self talk: People saying that munda is confused about his feelings and that is why he was questioning his decision regarding the ring. No he is not confused, since you all give Geet so much le-way, lets look at were Maan was coming from. We all know that the engagement is real for him. But it is fake for Geet and he only wanted to give it to her once he found out her feelings for him. She has been sending him mixed signals all the time, so why can't he be sure about how she feels before making her his real mangetar? That's why the self talk on Maan's side.
2. Before the office scene: What was that- Secretary or Mangetar? And when he asks regarding both, she is mean and rude. I understood her secretary answer. But her Mangetar answer was just plain uncalled for. How dare she say you are only worried about the ring and not about your mangetar. Now who is sending whom mixed messages. As for all of you who said that she wanted him to say you are more important, that she was asking him who was more important the ring or her? Okay ask the question but at-least give the other person a chance to answer. She wasn't asking she was answering and that too really rudely. And why must Munda always be the one to make things better.
3. Ring scene: Totally stupid, I know lot of you agreed with this, there was no need to play pass the parcel with the ring. If the whole aim was to have Maan make her wear the ring all over again, there could have been other better ideas to make the ring slip off her finger. I wish the CVs would actually get in touch with some of you and take ideas from you lot. You all came up with better ideas.
4. After Maan finding Phurana ring: Her asking questions, Munda being unable to answer and then finally when he talks about secretary and boss relationship she gets upset. Also after the fight he calms her with the friend deal. I know a lot of you said he was sending her mixed signals but he himself not knowing what their relationship is. Exactly he doesn't because if you all remember he told Geet in HP that she is always the one who decides what is between them, she was the one who called their relationship friendship. As for the secretary boss yelling, here too Geet is at fault and my Munda told her so, she is the one who was talking about secretary and boss relationship before they came to the office. So if my munda is ACTING confused it is because of Geet.
5. Making her wear the ring again: I was hoping that this was a sign enough for Geet to realize that everything he has said so far he means it. He validated their relationship by using the (before forbidden) word- HUM. and she asked again and he said again HUM. He knows what he feels he isn't sure what she feels, poor guy at the rate the girl is going he will become Baba Adam.
6. Uncle and Aunty: Yaar, sab log Pyyar andha hota hain- remember that. Uncle is blind to Aunty being annoying and a toothpick. And Aunty is blind to the fact that Uncle seems cheesy and is a laddo. And really Pyaar ki Nishani- they couldn't come up with anything better, something along the lines that they are getting married and they want to start a family so they want to build a house that will reflect their love for each other, no Uncle has to be cheesy and wants to build Aunty a Taj Mahal. Loved Adi's laugh. I didn't understand one thing, if the clients are talking to Maan why is Sasha jumping in and answering. Bin bulai mehman.
7. Post Uncle and Aunty: If you didn't hear Maan say this then you need to watch the episode again, Maan is still trying to show Geet what she mean to him and what he feels for her. I guess he figured out, kuddie is so dense that words and actions didn't get through to her, so maybe an entire Pyaar ki Nishani will let her know his feelings. And all you geet lovers, once again Geet saying to herself, I don't know what he feels for me and I hope that working on this house he doesn't find out what is in my heart. Please Please Please give my munda a chance, even a tiny ray of hope will do. She just blocking every attempt by the Munda
Also Munda only want to do this project with Geet, it was so sad when he said he doesn't know anything about love. I just wanted to pat him on his back and tell him, don't worry it is not very different from what you are feeling right now for Geet. He feels that he doesn't know what love is because he has done everything that a guy who is in love would do for his lady love and all he has gotten is rejection. He is probably thinking that maybe what I am doing is not right, maybe it isn't love because if it were why would she not acknowledge my feelings, and I guess since she hasn't - what I feel it can't be love.
8. What is love?: Actually liked this conversation, I think we all want to know what love means to each of them. And maybe if everything is spelled out, it will finally go through their heads and this tamasha will stop.
9. Loved Sasha's reaction to Maan ignoring her. He only has eyes for Geet. The sooner Sasha get that through her head the better.
10. Devtara: What a scene! She is such a villain, Karishma Randhawa is such a great actress, is she didn't act so well, we wouldn't hate NT so much. That aside, she hasn't even told her husband what Maan has told her regarding Geet. About how he will avenge every tear that Geet sheds. She is just pushing her husband into the lions den. Loved the scene.
