this is what i made out after the last few episodes ...

the story has really slowed down ... yes yes there have been moments and the there is plot .. but the story has actually stagnated and this i attribute not to the on screen story but to the off screen happenings, i have a feeling the makers are trying to create a bank to accommodate for Gurmeet's absence if he is already not here.... either ways at times the episodes look like fillers ...
I think they might have changed the plot a little bit to accommodate Gurmeet's absence. And so they need to reach a point where they separate and then Gurmeet goes on vacation. So to coordinate the timing, they need to drag the story just a bit.

this doesn't in anyway mean i don like what i see, i certainly love every episode being a hardcore fan of the show .. but there is a part inside me, that expects perfection and that inside says ... these guys are not on the mark of perfection at the moment ...
I don't know why everyone has been saying that. I, for one, have enjoyed each and every scene and cannot complain what so ever. I think I have blind faith in the Creatives!

why i say this ...

the focus is on the office, which i am happy about, but, why they have this is backdrop is problematic ... those scenes look like flimsy fillers between any two intense Maaneet moments ... Sasha and Tasha could be jealous of Geet but they are just shown giving her cold stares... i dont want them to sceme and plot, but they can do other things to make Geet feel odd .. the way they earlier did .. remember the scoring sequence ???
They were working in the outhouse office for a reason - Daadi's health. Now that the reason does not exist, they are back to the main office. Sasha and Tasha were in outhouse too, schemed there too, so that's not the reason. Maybe the reason is to bring the discrete distinction between fiance and secretary. They are working around this confusion now I think. 3rd reason - DeMello track.

the ring scene yesterday was over before i could feel the impact ... where was Geet involved... people were merely passing it on ... the seriousness of the scene would have been more highlighted if Geet was seen fighting for it .. but being helpless, in the process when Maan walks in he gets pissed... and then she defends herself .. the punch was missing ....
Adding these points from my comment on some other post.
- Angoothi dil se nahi pehnayi - maybe not with the correct intentions. He was in a daze then and didn't know what he was doing or why. That's why it came off of Geet's hands and traveled back to him.
- Puts the ring back on with correct intentions. No confusion now! 'This belongs to you Geet.' And frankly, if you compare the 2 events, there is change of expression. From daze to affirmation.

going a little peeche i loved the way he slid the ring into her finger the previous night ..he had totally taken her in .. with his words, his gestures and she had no other option but to give in ... the comparison of their relationship with the moon and the sky was the highlight of the episode ... and her after thoughts also were awesome .. it showed the apprehension of a young girl, as she tries to make sure that the guy she likes likes her too ...

the soft tender moment, where he tells her he doesnt want to fight with her anymore, also indicated how close he wanted to be with her, and how he wanted to remove all the bitterness between one another ... she complied at some level she wanted it too ...
- He's REALLY tired of fighting. Now all he wants to do is have heart to heart conversations with her.
- Aaj jo humare paas hain, kya hum usse khush nahi reh sakte - Again HUM should be stressed here. He has said it loud and clear, there is HUM between them. That they are now one with heart and soul. Just words away. Possible symbolism - they'll be happy with what they have. They won't fight over what happened, could have happened, or will happen.

the most striking feature of yesterday's episode was however the fact that ... unlike other shows, or other stories, where the couple in love plunge into a relationship and then discover the bad sides of the other and then misunderstandings crop up ... here we have a story .. where both of them, are not only trying to understand one another, accept each other the way they are ...
Acceptance is far for now and will come later. Coz they don't really know ANYTHING about the other. All they know is there is HUM between them.

dadi telling Maan, he might want to lead an aesthetic life, but him now having to think of Geet, and Maan actually giving it a thought ...

Maan telling Geet that she should leave some things to destiny and not try and gamble with it ...

Geet exercising authority over Maan- the way she pulled the file while he was trying to avoid eye contact and then the way he was fiddling with the mobile and she tries telling him how he cant run away from issues either showed how both of them now not only try to make one another better.. is what appealed to me ..
- Iske saamne main kuch bol kyun nahi paata - He will always let her have her way. And to come to think of it, she has become more authoritative. With authority she pulled the file from him and snatched the phone too.
- Comfort level raised another bar - Now they can talk about their feelings and desperately want to know what the other thinks.


Mr. Demello's entry .. well.. i have mixed feelings .. well yeah, they are to play cupid .. par .. why the hell do they need so many cupids ... i mean, its no longer about external factors playing .. i now think, their relationship has crossed a stage where there needs to be self realisation... all these third parties coming only reminds me of a series of patients coming into Sanjeevani to make Armaan and Riddhima realise their love for one another ... and this relationship acc to me, is a mature one, that needs each other more than outsiders ...
I'm all for it. They both have a troubled past and need a nudge to take a plunge into the unknown. You know what I mean?
- Pyaar ki nishani ko banane se kaise rok sakte hain- Geet's baby? Does this mean the baby is here to stay - with both of them?
- He will not build any pyaar ki nishani without Geet. Means he will never ever think about anyone but Geet. They are meant to be.
- For once MSK declared he doesn't know anything about something. He doesn't know anything about love. What has Geet done to the ego filled man? BTW, does this mean he'll be all goofy when they start going out? Since he doesn't know how to act? I doubt! He's too romantic for words.
- Kya pyaar ke bina jeena itna mushkil hai - I think they will separate for a bit and then realize how difficult it is to stay away from your beloved.

and whats with this new twist ? NT is running away? this one actually turned out to be a damp squib after all the expectations we had .. she takes MSK's threat so seriously she decides to run away from the scene ... while i am relieved... i am also disappointed ... but i guess, its a little different from the usual.. she turned out to be an escapist after all... i now feel bad for Dev!! what was he married into??? how many of you think she will be back? or do we add her to the list of actors on Star one who were promised a meaty role and ended up being another extra to the plot and the actor has opted a way out ????
You know this only gives me one thought - Dev-Geet-Maan traigle per the TB article? I mean the only way a triangle can be fit in is if NT is not in the picture.

phew! those were loads of thoughts at one time ... thats why i hate piling it all up .. i end up getting overly critical .. and stop enjoying the "in the moment" joy aspect of the show ...

I also don't understand why they need too many cupids , i mean first dadi then pari and now that new couple, Maneet are enough mature to realise their feelings for each other they don't need any cupid anymore, and showing such kind of characters they are loosing grip on story .
let's hope to see some good Maneet moment and omg how could i forget that truth is going to reveal on friday and this weekend is going to be deadly 🤢.
I want to see Maan's reaction on truth and for that we have to wait till Monday😡.
This friday is going to be Dhamakedar for sure.
