The in-depth analysis done here has prompted me to write a few lines also. This is the second soap that I got interested in, first being DMG. For this one I really hope the writer and director stay on their original story line. They destroyed the whole concept behind DMG within the first year only, people continued to watch because of KSG only.
What I want is that original character sketches of the characters are maintained. They continue to be the same people and not start behaving in a way that is not congruent with how the characters have been shown to develop. The entry of the Domellos has made me a bit wary. They may be knee deep in love with each other, but their brand of love is not we have between Geet and MSK. Domellos are loud and very public about their love. One doesn't need a 'piyaar ki nishani' to show how much they love the other person. With Geet and MSK it's their understanding of each other that's the piyar ki nishani, they understand each other's reactions, gestures, eyes.
The reason why these characters are in this domain of confusion is because they have been hurt/ditched before so think they are treading on thin ice and want to be absolutely sure before they take the next step. This is precisely why we are witnessing the Ring fiasco. In some the initial episode we heard MSK say in a very sure shot way to Geet that he doesn't tell lies. He has been shown to be terribly staright with his Dadi too and on one occasion he also said that Dadi is always faking her illness. So why is he going through this charade, to get Geet to confess and not because he thinks Dadi is unwell, is he going to enter into a fake shaadi also?
It all started when Geet followed him to the Dargah and he realized that she may be experiencing feelings similar to his and he wants to find out whether that's true or not. The same reason makes him ask Geet to get a girl to act as his finacee and if you all remember every time he watches Geet closely to ascertain the effect of his words. We went so deep into this fake-fiance situation because Geet is resisting so hard, every time MSK comes near she tries to go further. The jewellery scene: MSK was damn sure about her and asked her why had she refused, she only agreed that she will find him a girl, remember how he stepped back with 'I don't believe this!' clearly written on his face. Then again after the 'where's the party tonight' scene, I am sure pari was out of his mind and then he forced her to be the fake fiance (ghee seedhi ungli say na nikla tu….) and there too he tried to force a confession out of her but Geet managed to escape her 'yes' by adding 'I'll be you fake finace', there again we see him stepping back not knowing.
So I just hope characters' consistency is there. MSK is a reserved person who doesn't show his feelings that easily, hence the attraction to Geet who is open about her emotions (opposites attract). Please please don't him show his feelings in the open way Domellos do. That will kill his character. The PDAs can only be for the office people and dadi and not for real. I hope director and writer do not destroy the serial. I am not happy with the domello sequence L.
