i cant wait to see the taveez back in maan's hand...i cannot tolerate if it ends up with dev....

NAAAAAHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII *******FILMY STYLE*** If It ever falls into Dev's hand - I am sure this is want the taaveez too would say-- Zinda hoon mein kiske liye 😆😆.....
Yes, she should say that the taveez apki raksha kare.. When he asks her to wear it , she shld say- Aap hi to meri taaveez ho **Barry dillon must be hunting for Brij's talwar**...
I am poori deewani after this week's roller coaster ride!! 🤪

I think the CV's do deserve their due and we give it to them time and again ...and at the same time it is also a fact that we are so tuned in to the show that we also read too much into every little thing that happens or does not...😉
For example, many things that happen in this actually also happen elsewhere .(I am not talking of routine hindi shows).in some good stories, some movies, some plays, in our imagination😊 ..etc
but , the beauty of this show is that here , they happen ALL THE TIME , and scene after scene, driving us crazy .....
Beyond that there is no new or deep symbolism in each and everything , the way we Maneetians tend to see... for eg. it is not the first time that a hero has thrown the dupatta to the heroine or the heroine has torn her dupatta to ties the hero's wound ... or that the heroine is hero's "parineeta" through indicative scenes.... BUT WHEN MANEET DO IT , IT TAKES A SPECIAL CHARM , and they do it again and again , in different ways, as it were, and we love that (till we sometimes also get bored and protest - like the eyelocks and Mahi tune after sometime!)
So, to cut a long story short, I DO think Geet CV's are exceptional and talented, know their audinece, DO put in thought and symbolism .....but not in each and every scene and sentence and word and thing as we see it.😊.... We are excited and crazy by our love for the show and I love it that way, may we always remain so ....and let the CV's and us have a ball of a time together..
VJ

Thank you VJ
yeah i am sure...we delve deeper and deeper everyday into the serial, find nuances that may be there. Is it us and our involvement that makes us so vigilant or are we an audience which not just uses their eyes but also brains while watching a serial and see that the story has layers that can be peeled to reveal the underlying message in every frame they shoot.

It has to be the brilliance of the director and his vision..that makes each frame magical is it not?

I'm not sure if you've noticed yet, but I like reading between lines. And I've done that for almost all episodes. I hope I'm not overanalyzing for when you do that, you lose the original essence. I do think creatives show each and every scene very symbolically and you may be right about your analysis today re: dupatta. I didn't think of it that way. I have a slightly different way of analyzing that piece.

Maan knows the value of a dupatta and he takes it very seriously - especially when it comes to Geet for she is a small towner, cut lil innocent kid. So whenever her dupatta goes astray i.e. - her izzat, he makes sure to bring it with him and give it back to her. We've seen this a few times now and I'm not going to bore you with that list - that was your original topic of discussion anyway.

What catches my eye is that he, himself, cannot bear to see her without it. Right from the beginning he looked away when he found her without her dupatta:
- Torn saree at the party
- While she is dressing up for the launch party
- When she leaves it in his hands after wiping off ink off his face
- When she is getting ready for the shaadi
- When she tore her dupatta today, he looked away (this was the most beautiful part for me)

Does this mean he cannot bear to see any harm on her izzat? Yes of course. But then, what is he going to do once he finds out Dev cheated her? He is surely going to kill him. And then how will be overcome the guilt that it was his own brother who caused so much pain to the girl he has come to love the most in his life?

This has given me idea for another topic...look out for 'food for thought' in the next few fours....

Yes dol i agree totally...and yes...there has been a lot..of symbolism i can see in this serial..i had made a topic long long back..let me post...it here..

Geet and Symbolism

I like the way Geet uses symbolism to portray deeper meanings of life…

Everday there is something we can take home..besides Maaneet… but yes really take home into our lives

Be is sharing, caring, giving, tenderness or heartache. All give us depth of what it feels like to be in love or to love someone.

Some of the symbolisms I have seen are

The dupatta – ek naari ki lajja… How Maan always and I mean always ensures that he respects Geet, her dupatta signifies the symbolism of being dignity that surrounds a woman. It protects and covers a woman not literally but figuratively her self respect.

The wound Maan gets – noticed how whenever Geet had been in pain or hurt, it is always Maan hurting his left hand too. Especially noted during the scenes in hoshiyarpur where he hurt himself and even when he hurt her, his wound got scratched again he once again hurt himself. This is symbolism of his understanding her pain, what better than to feel her pain like his own.

The Taveez – this is probably the biggest symbolism of all..

He is her destiny and vice versa. Taveez bind them together, this of course sy mbolises that destiny will always bring two people who are meant for each other together, no matter what…

These are some that I find…pls add what you have seen as well and if you agree with me!

this is what i had written let me see if i can give the link too..

Looks like there is more to add to the list...from today's episode. I wonder if we should keep track of all these symbolic events for future reference lest we forget (which I highly doubt).
