@jyotidi...........didi u knw what di.......muskandi has a vast knowledge in many field ......i have talked to her.she even researched on this topic then amde this post...i really salute her for this topic and its one of the topic that i really appreciate infact my mom was saying the same thing regarding this issue......she said that there used to have so many maid servants in india in various temples.....and those are mainly the women who lost their husband in a very young age..i guess at the age when balvivah was still on......and the young girls of 13-14 age were amrried to 80-90 aged buddhas and then if after their death,they were treated lyk maid servants(in bengali..."sevadasis") and they were used by the so called brahmins who used to do pujas in the mandirs.......
toh uske saamne toh yeh sab kuchh bhi nahin...kuchh bhi zyada nahin dikhaya ja raha hain.its definitely not going over board.....
