btw .. Khurana i suppose is a punjabi Hindu name but what abt Handa? geet is forever saying babaji but she also once mentioned Mata ka jagrata or something ......

what is the scenario if the guy is Hindu and girl Sikh? whose rituals are followed? i always get confused by such stuff 😊

and oh sami ... that's exactly what they wanted to point out .. that it happens very frequently in Punjab ... 😆 that first track was awesome but it didnt give them the kind of TRPs they r getting with the romance ... i just dont get the TV audience at times

@Skep - the serial started on a serious note about fake marriages, not verifying background - if NRI everything good and then about honor killing! So it has a strong social message behind the romance!

What worries me is the stands that may be taken.................

Will Geet be considered to be unfaithful ? altho her "husband" has hoodwinked her?

Can a woman pregnant with one man's child crave another?

Will only Geet be castigated for her feelings towards a man other than her husband?

Will the creep go scotfree despite his Himalayan like crime?

Very sensitive issues ............... they must be handled maturedly.

No matter what ............... my sympathies lie with that innocent dingbat !!!

khurans could be sikh too isi liye poocha....punjabi khatris sometimes dont wear turban but follow guru granth sahib so i assumed since they have land etc,they must eb sikh bec in punjab agricultural land belongs to mostly jatt community and problem of NRI issue is mostly with them .its huge problem here ..a huge one soem times parents of boy are ones who end up helping these girls...😭
