Really u deserve the accolades today Nissar. I wrote earlier that u must be back & must have directed today's dinner scene segment because I felt the magic today, their eye locks again had the sparks that I felt in my living room which was highly amiss y'day. Thank u for that. Its ur brainstorm & handiwork & its our expectations from u at stake all the time. Welcome back!
I will not go into detail about Pari except for the fact she is as everyone is saying too over the top! She better tones it down or else her character inspite of being positive will not be looked up to favorably. Somehow I feel Maan did not bring Pari in the scene. Y'day only after he saw Geet's reaction from upstairs he decided to get pari for the job as his fiancee. Before that he just walked away & that made me think if he was the mastermind behind this then why would he wait for Geet's reaction before asking her to get Pari!! So maybe its dadi's plan, whatever it is this girl is too hyper, too energetic for her own good! She is not a kid from any angle, so being brainless doesn't suit her in any way. Being spirited, jovial or social is one thing but being a mindless person with no substance is another. Will see how u all will play it out.
Next that beautiful scene. Maan cares for her & can go to any length for her well being & that was proven today. Jyoti that beautiful post of ur's y'day u wrote about Maan's confessions in IF needs to be updated, 2 more instances can be added in that list from today. He is so concerned about her health that he arranges everything selflessly & yet wanted to leave before she comes without any hope of receiving any thanks or gratitude from her. This is called selfless love!
And Geet & her self talking!! She does it so openly now in front of Maan! Anyway he is MSK afterall & I loved how u all kept him in his character. This is something I have been writing for ever, to keep them in their characters, not to lose them no matter what! Whatever may be the circumstances a person's basic nature never changes & we saw that today. He was that tough MSK the moment Geet saw him & he started without a preamble about asking for her progress as far as Pari is concerned. He was that hard core business tycoon with no remorse whatsoever.
And here I want to pass on a big hug to Nakul, no body will remember him but if it was not for him then Geet wouldn't have realised what Maan did for her. And I am happy Geet takes the initiative to offer him food.
Only thing is if she didn't want him to eat from her plate then why did she carry it to him & was holding it upto him like that??? Only to show him what she was eating?? :-))) Girl u wanted him to do that & after he did eat from ur plate u acted innocent! Good going Geet! And that eye contact, it was superb, they looked on fire specially Maan! What intensity! And then his counter question........WOW!! I couldn't believe my ears when he said that! I was like really he said it so openly, so boldly!! There was no looking back, no holding back, no restraining himself but letting himself go all the way, in true sense the song was fitting him today, 'behne de mujhe behne de....'!
And the moment Geet acted ignorant as to what he is saying or asking he became that hard hearted MSK again behind his shell asking for an appointment with Pari for lunch. It was like if u want to play the game then its fine with me, afterall the school u r in now I was principal of it once! :-))) So the game is still on & I am loving every moment of it. And pls pls pls don't rush this phase, I am in love with this phase & I don't want it to end anytime soon. Its better than confession or consummation as Doodle said.
And what a master piece stroke that was, his stroking her cheek or wiping something off her cheek. Brilliant touch Nissar. He is taking a bold step at a time deliberately & intentionally, breaking all the dams of resistance of Geet. Go Maan, go!
Later those monologues were all splendid! How he stresses that no one can leave him unless & until he wants them to was also a fabulous touch, hope it will carry weight in future when the truth is out. Geet will leave only when & if he wants her to or else never!! Very nice CV's, loved it.
I won't comment on Dev & NT's segment, don't want to use my brain cells over them, as I wrote earlier they r a couple paired in heaven! Suits each other to the T.
The last segment was again surprising, both of them thinking the other brought the flowers. Maan's dilemma in guessing whether Geet knows he brought the rose for her or not, understandable since he is unable to guess what is going on in Geet's mind. He knows she feels something more for him but is not accepting the fact & Geet questioning his guts when he couldn't give her a rose then how come today he has got a room full of flowers for her! Very funny!
Only thing is I don't want Maan to be acting gaga over Pari tomorrow about the flowers. I mean he is offering her a job about his fiancee & nothing more & so he shouldn't be all lovey dovey to her in private. In front of Dadi, family & Geet its ok but he can surely tell her he doesn't like flowers firmly, will wait as usual to see what u have in mind.
The precap was awesome as well. this guy is leaving no stones unturned in pursuing her & to make her jealous! That jhoomka touch was once again brilliant. Poor Geet, that is all I can say!
And oh forgot to add loved the sensitive side of Geet today in that new promo telling him she is not affected by his proximity because she can't afford to! Almost felt pity for her, really poor girl inspite of being in love & loved back she can't go any further making future plans. Very well sketched out CV's.
Overall a thumbs up from my end for today's episode.
