Jyo - Thats surely a bold show especially for the 1990's. I am surprised that it wouldn't work in this day and age but you may be right about that.

I don't want any more spoilers!! I am spoiling the show for myself by knowing.

jyots i as far as i remember haasratein ws well received....dat too in 90's....toh abhi toh 2010.....starone is youth channel....v hv youngstres who r livin in....toh isme kya badi baat hai....😆....

bt lk u said baby issue.....😆...patah nahi logon ka dimagh kaise chalta hai...😆

Jyo, I am quoting you here for the first time because I want a frame of reference.

Forget about the common demographic. Let's take the case scenario of this DEN, how many of us would fully be behind such an option and how many of us would oppose it. That basically represents the common demographic too...just like TRPs of a few viewers reflect the common demographic of the whole viewership. What say devils?

@Bri:I may sound like a despo teenager girl living in lalaland and loving candy floss love stories😆..but my real liking lies in such type of shows like Hasratein...or Astitva or even Justjoo or Teacher which actually breaks all the so called myths and norms of our society and dares to give us something totally different😳...if Geet can follow this storyline...it will b another classic for me..but the problem is our trp system which is restricting the creativity in every show today👎🏼

@Adits:even I was in school that time😆...and they were showing bold love making scenes between Savi and KT who were involved in extra-marital affair..the show generated quite a stir among the viewers...but it was applauded for its honesty and portraying some of the harsh realities of our society👏...I remember my entire family used to b glued to our TV sets every tuesday at 9pm when the show used to come😆😳...that time this trend of daily soaps was not there...it used to come once every week and so the creativity was never compromised based on trps👍🏼

@Suhaani:Dunno why we r going backwards...today's viewers should accept such storyline...but no we r still watching pavitra rishta na😆😆

@Manmeet:The best part about that story was there was no justification given about the extra marital affair...they showed pure passion and lust in a most bold way..later it turned into pure love..but still no justification...all characters were flawed..no sati savitri was there to lecture the viewers..very realistic show👏

@Fudge Sundae: I am all for a well presented solid, bold storyline. But, I do not contribute to this show's TRP so, my opinion does not matter. The 90s had some great shows on Zee TV, and there was the golden period of Doordarshan.

yaa, unlike star, that time zee was very famous, with nice serials, 😳, even sony had few of them😳

Bri most of the members in our Den represents youth.,..so I m sure they will love the story and support it too😳..but those contributing to trps will give example of shows like yeh rishta and pavitra rishta where everything is considered sin without marriage😆..will they accept it is the question ??
