wow, you read my mind. Maneet's fans start reading each other's mind. My story for Maneet is little longer...Pari is playing along....she knows that Maneet loves each other....Now, it is time to make maan jealous. Pari brings her friend and introduce him to geet and she ask geet to have dinner with her...She tells maan to come too (Geet is not there when she is talking to maan)...He says no first and pari says you should come cuz geet and her friend going to there too as well. If you don't come she will not go either so only Geet and her friend will have dinner.....Maan gets jealous and agree to come...he can't see anyone else with Geet...

Maan and everyone meets up to have dinner. Pari helped Geet with geeting ready...Geet looks so pretty just like princess and Maan couldn't take his eyes off her...Her friend knows about them too to make maan jealous he says that Geet looks so pretty today and she always looks pretty. You should see maan's face...Pari is enjoying maneet talk with their eyes.. on other left side people are dancing...Pari wisper to geet that if she doesn't mind having dance with her friend...Geet says no but then pari tells her that she needs to talk to maan cuz she wants to know more about him...Geet agree (poor girl didn't have any choice). Pari tells her friend and Geet that why don't you guys dance, we will join you later....Her friends asks geet to dance and when she agree to dance...Maan looks so shocked. Whole time maan is looking at them dancing and really mad (or jealous I say). Pari is watching both of them and pretending like she is talking to someone on the phone.

Finally, They are on the dance floor too. They switch partners, now geet is dancing with maan and she about to leave..he grabs her arm and pull her toward him...Geet says she doesnt want to dance...Maan says you will dance and only with him...awww I let your imagination do rest of the work

Just then Adi, who was also invited for the party, rushed into the hall in flustered state as he was late and spotting Geet, heaved a sigh of relief. He quickly headed in her direction and escorted her to the nearby table. Seeing this Maan, retreated back and guided Parineeta to the table next to theirs. When the waiter stood near Geet's table to take her order, he craned his neck to hear what she was ordering for he was worried that she may order some exotic stuff like the previous occasion and then end up feeling embarrassed. Parineeta was amused to see Maan interest in his secretary's meal.

"Maan?" she called out to attract his attention.

Maan turned his attention back to Parineeta and looked shiftily at her, desperately trying to hide his concern for Geet.

"What do you like to have?" she asked looking at her menu and prodding him to look up his.

Not wanting to spend time selecting a dish he replied, "I'll have whatever you're having." He then turned back in Geet's direction. Geet had, in the meantime, already placed her order and the waiter was turning to leave when Maan caught his wrist and dragged him down so as the waiter's ear was in level with his mouth. He asked him in a hushed tone what the lady in the next table had ordered. The waiter, who looked surprised by his question, nevertheless dutifully answered him and Maan relieved a sigh of relief hearing that she had settled for traditional Punjabi cuisine. Parineeta keenly observed the exchange between Maan and the waiter from behind her menu card and once the waiter had straightened up, she gestured to him and proceeded to place both their orders.

Maan tried to make small conversation with his dinner partner.

"So, Parineeta. How come you have such an unusual name?"

"Oh, my mom, a Bengali, is a great fan of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's works and Parineeta was her favourite book. She named me after the book. Wonder when I will really live up to my name."

Maan looked her in puzzlement.

"Well, you see my name means 'married woman' So I'm wondering when I will become one," she said cheerfully by way of answer.

Maan seemed uncomfortable at mention of marriage. He turned to see Geet who looked in his direction just then.

He quickly turned back towards Parineeta and said in a loud voice to make sure it reached Geet's ear, "I think the day is not very far when you will be a real 'Parineeta'. You already are a 'pari', what with your delicate features and fair complexion, not to forget your graceful demeanor."

Geet's large eyes reflected the envy she felt within and she quickly turned her attention to Adi and tried to strike up a cheerful conversation with him. Although Maan did not directly look at her, he noticed her reaction from the periphery of his vision and smiled to himself.
