I read the article where debina mentioned that Gurmeet had to shoot as Geet team did not have episodes shot for monday also ...Starting Monday the pace of the serial is slow with lot of doubles, F B and repeated frames ...I understand Gurmeet is sick and he should be given ample time to rest ..
In today's episode I clearly see that Gurmeet shot those scenes from his home and they were able to finish the shoot just in a day ...

I also heard that these guys work long hours everyday like 16-20 hours and yet they Do not have any episodes.. atleast a week worth of episodes shot and ready .

I feel the whole shooting system should get better and they should start working on Time management.. they should maintain well screen play , story , track and production house so that the crew doesn't work long hours which in turn spoils their Health...

It Doesn't matter even they have bank of episodes , the whole process should become better so these situations will not arise..!

Get Effective before it Affects you .

I agree .. surely contingency planning is a concept the production house has heard of .. how can you shoot 1 day behind .. how can you not plan for the unexpected .. its common sense in any manufacturing/ production/ fulfilment enviroment .. to ensure to plan for the unexpected including malaria machchars!! bechchara GC bimaar aur usse kaam ki umeed be kerni .. no fair .. hands off our maan 😡😡 that's what we're here for!!!

16 - 20 hours means they spend that time on set but doesn't mean they are doing any significant work the whole time. It is a matter of time management though. The scenes are inefficiently shot. If they did the scenes from todays episode from his house in 2 hours then why does it take so much longer from the studio??

These issues have been in place in all daily soaps for ages. We are just seeing the problems due to his illness. I doubt anything will change.

I hope the production house learns from this and plans accordingly from now on for the future

Yes, if push comes to shove, they seem to have no problems speeding things up. Guru's performance was excellent despite his ill health and the fact that he could not shoot for long. So if they spend so much time on the sets and yet do not have sufficient bank episodes, it only reflects on mismanagement of time and resources. Hope they learn from this, but doubt they would.
