& Guess that explains how much I loved it!! I cudnt leave it mid way... Its 2.45am here rt nw!!😉

Opti, thanks again for recommending this. I finally completed reading Strangers along with its sequel.

At the outset, let me commend you on your writing skills. Well, your analyses had proved it already. But, this also proved your writing skills with respect to fiction. It was a pleasure to read through the fan fiction. Your ease with the language made it a quick read.

Now, you took the route of characterising Maan and Geet in a way that is quite distinct from their characterisations in the series. That was brave. For instance, in a moment of weakness, Strangers' Geet decided to end her life. An ill-thought out decision when all hope seemed lost. But, this is something that the ever-optimistic Geet of GHSP would not do. Yet, you decided to strike off the path and have that incident as the point where their lives first intertwined.

Let me list out a few things for special mention:

• She threw up on him and he did not complain;
• Her subtle way of putting him in his place the next morning after he yelled at her for performing wifely duties;
• When encouraging her to disclose the truth, he told her that he would not be judgmental of her;
• He bravely helped deliver their cherub, an experience that intensifiied the bond between the man and cherub;
• He punched Dev only in his imagination (That was well written. You revealed that he did not only in the next part);
• Little Sahana invited herself to their first date;
• Uncle Dev was a good guy too and got a happy ending;
• Love multiplies when it is shared. Here, it was fortunate that all four involved -- Maan, Geet, Dev and Neha -- were good at heart.

By the way, I missed Ali, Rehana, Aamir, Aarif, Amaan, Ayaan and Asma at Sahana's 16th birthday party.

Well, unlike those who are responsible for what we see in the series, you are knowledgeable about legal issues -- dissolution of marriage by mutual consent after one year, the prohibition on medical practitioners that prevent them from revealing the sex of the foetus, juvenile delinquency and the difference between annulment and divorce. I am suitably impressed. Are you a closet lawyer?

And, for what it's worth, I cannot forget to allude to a strange coincidence -- the name of Geet's doctor -- can I?

Now, Destiny's Play (the Maaneetified version) has a hundred parts and an epilogue. And, I understand that Great Expectations too is a mammoth piece of writing. How on earth did you manage to find time to write so much? Well, I am sure that your readers are definitely a happy lot.

Thanks Honeygrape. Here is the link to my other fics on Maaneet. I am not writing anything now. Left my Maaneet scenes as I have run out of ideas and lost my writing touch. If I regain both I may continue.
