Maan, for the first time took a tiny step back and allowed the subtle Geet to grow and go through the things he has already faced. It was marvelous how it was handled.

This is my first ever Geet's POV writing, apart from the ones that I write for fun (The interview and the analysis)

But, since you asked, if there is an episode which you liked the most where you wish to see Maan's POV done in similar fashion, please do let me know. I will try. But for this episode, I truly apologize.

Thanks..
Sookie

Yes how beautiful for Geet taking the frontstage, and also to see Maan carefully giving her the deserved space with generosity as yes he was in her shoes....
thank you sookie and as you probably know, thie defining episode for Maan, one which he will be taken aback by a tsunami of surrender, is yet to come... we'll all know when it comes and I'll eagerly await you penning it...
blessed you are with such a talented discerning verve

my favorite line - in that split moment, he touches his forehead to mine.

It was endearing and it bought a tear to my eye.

It was one confession acknowledging another.

i did wish, well - that i'd read just the piece minus the pictures ... even though i'd already seen the episode, i like to conjure images of my own when i read - maybe that answers something of my dislike for graphic novels? i think, it may just be the reason!

well written nonetheless - its a marvel to me how a piece can be written from a thought thats not ones own - i always have trouble - being given a situation and asked to write - i like how easy u make it look, when i know better otherwise!

In my defense, you started this Graphic Novel conversation which I am now going to continue.

Yesterday evening, I was asked - "M, whatever you are learning right now is interesting?"
I replied - "The only thing that interests me the most at this point is a graphic novel."

And I guess I now know the apprehensive streak you have when it comes to reading these stuff. I know that one's imagination is sufficient to buildup an image based out on words...sometimes you need words to spell out the underlying layers of emotions on a picture...
In graphic novel, both the picture and the words go hand in hand..if one is good and the other is crap (whichever that is), then the whole thing is flop. They have to complement each other and have to be synchronous. Many things can be shown in picture where words would seem like burden...You see the point?

I wrote the whole thing in one go, directly in notepad and did not edit it...somehow wanted to retain the rawness of my own initial perception of the episode so there is a mix in style of writing, words and to an extent quality. And this is no "infinity.." for me to write a dozen drafts before posting it...no?

I think tv series fail to show the inner ramblings of a character. There are various ways to do it, but lets face it...its not gonna happen here. The premise of the story is known...but the way you weave through it is different...

Ahh, I am now known as "flu bait" :-( If one person in a cubicle far away sneezes, I somehow manage to catch that cold :S

We confessed.
And then his eyes spoke for the longest time.
They were chatty, they were tranquil.
They lacked the usual restlessness.
They were peaceful, they were bratty.
They were serene, they were mocking.

They showed me a huge part of his true self.
