I am new to the show, just started watching it last week. And although the news about Sameera entering the show is what is on everyones mind, there is something that is bothering me. I have read many posts where people refer to Geets age and also the show where they bring it up time and again. I watched all the old episodes on YouTube and thought I would go to the starone website for more info. That is where in the character description I noticed that it says Geet is 21 years old.. I am a little confused since the other day she said in the last 18 years what she hated the most was unnecessary beatings.

Am I loosing my mind or did the CVs just make her younger or forgot how old she is supposed to be? So exactly how old is Geet?

In the show they state her to be 18. it was mentioned in the first episode and the one you metioned.

All CV's are very carless when it comes to the characters ages. in YRKKH on star plus, they said Akshara was 19 (at the begining at least, dont know now as I dont watch it), but in all articles at the time of starting they said Akshara was 21 too.
Now I just focus on what they say in the shows themselves.

Thanks for letting me know, it was really weird not knowing how old she is. I would have preferred her to be 21 but I am not the writer.

In the appointment letter that Maan signed it was stated as 18 years of age. She herself mentioned that in her 18 years of her life she had to suffer physical abuse. So I dont know how the channel is not aware of her age. Looks like the confusion is because the creatives have put her age down to 18 while the channel thinks it is 21. As the CVs are the ones writing the story, I guess we will stick with 18 although this makes the age gap between Maan and Geet all the more wider (I'm guessing Maan will atleast be 28 if not more).

By the way in the earlier episodes she was shown wearing a uniform which means she would be closer to 18 than 21 but then again in the appointment letter, the one which mentions her age as 18, they had showed that under qualifications she is supposed to have an B.A. degree. Now how can you finish B.A. when you are only 18? And in which college does one have to wear a uniform? I guess the CVs are also a confused lot.
