The next step was to admit it....no??

She was shocked with her realization. She was not aware whether to rejoice her feelings or to feel bad. She didn't knew how to express them verbally despite her eyes did the job quite well that Maan felt his own feelings are mirror imaged in her eyes. She didn't knew what will be Maan's response to her feelings. all she knew is that he hate her a lot and keeping pace with her just because of his grandmom's health and her request. So she still need some time to accept her emotions. She don't want to combine her past with future and make a mess of it. Hence she wants to go away from Maan from some time to think it over again.

He could ve asked politely...why she came here...

...remember at the thread scene ..he asked her nicely why she came here.....so why couldn't he ask politely again.

Well to me his outburst or questioning also had another layer of meaning. If we only see the surface then it will sound harsh but if we look deeper we will understand the various insinuations. 1st of all people shout at 2 types of people, one who r strangers, who doesn't mean a thing to them & they give 2 hoots about what they think or feel & 2ndly to someone who they consider their own. And by now we all know which category atleast Geet falls in to as far as MSK is concerned.
Another thing was when he was telling her to take care of dadima it had a ring of trust, a dependency in it. He doesn't go around asking Dev to take care of Dadima inspite of he being his younger brother but he had that faith in Geet to entrust her with that responsibility! Moreover the way he was telling her to look after dadima it had a tone of 'forever, ever after'...........maybe I am reading too much into this but I felt that. As if he is talking about something more permanent here, Geet u ALWAYS look after dadima because she is important to me, she is everything to me & I am alloting this important task to u, ONLY U!! Well I felt good hearing that but then again it must be only me, dreaming away to oblivion!! 😃

Nope lana, it isn't only you... Even I felt that Maan's outbursts had a inner meaning to it... He wanted to know why she came there for he wanted to make sure he heard from her what he saw in her eyes. And the way he trusts Geet to take care of Dadima was more of a "She is my life, I entrust you with my life" kind of a outburst. It was more concerning than scolding.

Yes it was not only because he trusted her with Granny and she didn't oblige, he knew very well that she can be trusted with his treasure and she will take care of it even without a blink. He was confused with her churning emotions. her eyes spoke a lot though sher didn't utter a word. She he wanted to know whether she came all the way all alone at that horrible weather to check how maan is? was she feared for his asfety so much that she ran all the way to Darga forgetting her responsibility of taking care of his Granny? he wanted her to voice her fears,

It will apparently be a marriage of compulsion to give the baby a name. Both will, however, be crazily in love with each other although they may be unable to express it. The reason why I think so is the symbolism they have used with the ghunghat and the garland - both symbols of marriage. The manner the two landed on them showed that it will be done unintentionally. For me this is not necessarily bad since although they may keep fooling each other there was no love in the marriage, the truth is otherwise.

No yar no marriage of compulsion....then either 1 will be the sacrificing one while the other will give all the hardships and pains in the world to the other...cause thats what they usually show or they show that both are trying to give sahara to one another.......nooooo.....I want there to be love between Maaneet... now and forever.....not some majboori.......I hope this doesn't happen and when they do get married...they marry each other out of love, and care for each other not just because it will be good for the baby

i think why geet didnt admit is...she itself is confused why she came running to see Maan... she will have to realise her feelings... then. maybe she wont confess in front of Maan...

Then he would not be the Maan Singh Khurana that we all love...Anger is his STAPLE emotion...one that we all recognize him by!!!

See I agree...Maan goaded her saw that he could confirm what he saw in her eyes.....her love and her fear fior his safety. When Geet told him that she didn't want to ever see his face again...he dieds a thousand deaths....and then what he saw in her eyes at the durga was just the opposite....he wanted her to admit that she was scared for him, she needed to make sure he was ok, that she wanted to see him ok!!!
But...I do agree...since this realization is still in the very INITIAL phases for Geet....she was dumbfounded by her emotions and could not voice anything...not even an agry retort to Maan. Lets see what happens today....but by GOD...these two drive me NUTS!!!

See I agree with Opti, that there will be marriage before the IZHAAR of their love by either one, and I suspect that that was the original story sketch by the CVs. But as you say Maahi....this is a very "been there doine that" approach, and a lot of the fans want something HATKE....they want full BLOWN LOVE before the marriage. Now if the Cvs are going to cater to the fans demans, then I am curious to see how they will build the story.....and my impatience is totally KICKING in...I can't wait!!!
Any ideas on how they will build this HATKE story??

I guess you did not follow what I wrote. To the world and to the other person it may appear as a marriage of compulsion but each would know that they love the other but only unable to express it because of the complex situation they are in. So while the baby may apparently be the reason they may marry, they are really in love with each other deep within. I think the slow unraveling of this love and care as they live together can be interesting to watch. I am driven to think this is what is in store for us because they keep bringing in destiny into this whole equation through various symbols. They do things inspite of themselves not out of conscious choice. That is why I think the marriage decision will also be destiny driven, only one that they are pleased from within to accept whole heartedly but pretend they are not really affected.
