Helloooooo sweeties and sweetas! đ¤
A very happy Friendship Day to all of you wonderful people! đ¤
So, for all those who missed me, sorry I disappeared. Life is a bit too hectic for comfort and I'm just too lazy to sit down and pen down my thoughts đ
And to all those who didn't miss me...I'm here to disturb y'all! đ đ
Yeah so getting back to the point of this post. I didn't post last week, so I'm combining all my thoughts and opinions in this one post. đ
Now...
I've talked about the change in Maan quite a few times. But I somehow managed to overlook Geet.
Frankly, I found Geet a bit OOC in the past few episodes. đ She seemed more like Muskaan than Geet. Weird enough. I kept wondering how she could agree to share the bed with Maan...and no, our immense liking for that scene isn't reason enough for me. đ Anyway, let's skip that.
So I've noticed Geet becoming more free and relaxed as the days pass. The shy, reserved and to some extent scared Geet we saw at the beginning changed, revealing a woman who has a love for everything beautiful in life, and in her softness she managed to win our hearts.
But recently, she broke through that shell as well to showcase a stout lady who knows what she wants from life. Moving out from Pinky's house was a very interesting decision. It's too early to say if it was a wise one, but it most certainly showed her in another light. She has gone through an ocean of change. The previous Geet would never have agreed to even live in the same room with a man, let alone share a bed with him.
And Maan, well, has been insensitive to say the least. While trying to run from his own emotions, he broke her many times. He's too scared to accept what he knows he can't run from. And that, is his biggest weakness.
He doesn't realise that forgetting the past and moving on is a sign of strength, not one of weakness. He needs to let go of the strings he's desperately holding on to. He may never admit it, but I feel he had very strong feelings for Sameera. But that wound can still heal. If he lets go of this chance he's got to revive what he had once lost, in a new, fresher and much nicer way, he'll regret it forever.
He is confused, and also wary of what might happen if he gave in once more to his wayward emotions. He fears love, he fears attachment and anything that threatens to break through the stone walls that guard his heart.
But Geet is his undoing. She makes his every emotion, his thoughts go haywire till he loses control. Perhaps that's the reason he punishes her so much, hurting himself in the process.
As for what he said to Geet, I must say it was most unexpected. đ˛ A result of a sudden outburst, he insulted her far beyond what even he, might have intended to.
And herein comes the irony. Think about what Dev did to Geet. He charmed her, made her fall in love with him, slept with her and ran off with her money, leaving her stranded in the middle of nowhere, a stranger among her loved ones.
See what Maan accused her of doing. He accused her of doing to him the very things she has been victimised for by his brother. đł (excepting the sleeping part of course)
Maan has a habit of shoving the truth in people's face. He's blunt, he's rude, and he knows that. But this was far, far beyond that. Unknowingly, he rubbed salt on an open wound she had been nursing since long.
He brought her past back to her again, which troubles her, even if subconsciously. If only he had any idea of what he has done, and the impact his words had on her.
He's trying to push his estranged emotions under the carpet, but he desn't know how obvious they are. The more he tries to run from them, the harder it becomes to hide them.
They need to figure things out. And for that, they need the time. None of them are emotoinally ready enough to confess their feelings right now, even if they do realise it.
Do share your thoughts.
Lots of love and hugs,
Khushboo. đł
P.S. - If anyone's got any bashing to do, find a place where your voices are valued, and this certainly isn't the right place for it.
