Introduction myself:

Hi there, I am Deaf and I love watching Geet series. The program is awesome! However I found myself struggling to understand what is happening in the show. Star Plus has English subtitle but Star one doesn't. I wanted to see how many people would like Geet series to have English subtitle. Some of you wouldn't like having subtitle but do consider those with hearing impairment or those who doesn't understand the indian language spoken in Geet series. I am hoping to get as many poll as I can to reach the production / director of Geet. I would love to have your support in this. Do comments!!!!

PETITION:

One again, I have set up a petition on August 1, 2010 to Star One TV channel to request english subtitle in all their channel. Please consider those people worldwide who watches the program and they cannot speak Indian or understand Indian Language. Having english subtitle would benefit those who has a hearing impairment and also those who struggles to understand the language in the program. I really require your support.

It would be really nice if Star One also had subtitles for the deaf, and people who don't understand the language.

Of course there are no subtitles on the channel based in India. (if you're watching the online videos) Do you have the UK/US version of Star One?

Thank you for your support! Yes I have UK version of Star Plus and Star One. I used to understand hindi until I started to have hearing loss about 5 years ago which makes it harder to understand what they are saying in the show. About 5 years ago Star Plus didn't had English subtitle. 3 years ago Star plus have subtitles in all their indian programs including all the movies playing on the channel. which is awesome!! I would really like Star One to have subtitle as Geet is my favourite show at the moment. Alot of people in UK watches Star Plus and Star One channel but many of them don't know how to cast a vote and I hope I could try to get the production or director to consider adding subtitles.

I need as much vote as i can get!!! Please support me in this....I am hoping to reach more than 100 to 500 vote or more. Looking forward to your support!!!! 😃

puhlease! english subtitles! im not Indian but i do understand it... thanks to Bollywood but then.. it would be nicer to read subtitles!!

I hope you can get through the channel! In the meanwhile, maybe you could read the daily updates, that are written in english? You could probably get a better sense on what's going on when watching the episode ;-)

Noodles....I have tried the Star One feedback section about a month ago but haven't heard nothing back from them. I even sent a letter to Star One in India but no respond, as well as emailed them and the list goes on. Someone told me to try the facebook page which I did today.....Finger cross someone will respond. 😕 Desi Angel: Sometimes reading the daily update doesn't really write everything Geet or Maan are saying. At times the written update is delayed. It's quite a struggle. I do read the written update everyday but at the same time I really really reallllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy wished Geet series has subtitle.

i dont have any problemss with that it dont have subtitles

but i think for poeple who struggle with it i think it a good idea :D

star plus have subtitles for the one that airs in star plus

butt the minus point of it will be that now its like one weeh behind than it will be 2/3 weeks behind with india

i am not Indian and i don't understand hendi at all and i like geet very much😳
just i watch geet in youtube not in tv!!!!!!!!!!!!
if your idea would be successful , i will be😍😍
you know i have watched many Korean and Japanese drama and most of them had english subtitle why not indian drama?😛
