i never saw kutumb but heard it was a great show

yeah mine too......only the 1st part though. I remember the promo scene...don't recollect seeing the blanket scene....😕

God i still cant stop laughing!!🤣
The epi was super hillarious kudos to Drashti and Guru for such an amazing performance!!
Poor Maan he was like on the verge of saying haan main pagal hogaya hai🤣 Geet is indeed driving him crazy like hell loved drashti's comic timings and Maan's soon to be pagal acts!!
Cant stop watching the dupatta scene what chemistry man!!😍
And i agree about Maahi its getting a little annoying now either they add some more lyrics to the tune or use another!!!

I actually went and rewatched the epi after reading your post and I realised a few things.

1. I think it was intentional on the part of the CVs to show Maan kick her out in the middle of the night... the very same Maan who has always been Geet's savior! Its odd but how else would you should how MAD and INSANE she has driven him? I mean here you have a guy like Maan, who is cold and unaffected, who always thinks his actions through, losing all rationality and acting on an impulsive need to put some distance between Geet and himself!

His deflated posture against the door, once he's kicked her out seems as if he is trying to regroup, get his bearings, make sense of things... almost as if he is lost within himself!

2. As he is kicked and breaking down the door, he realises that he treats Geet differently and she knows it. It is his attitude to her that has convinced her she is special. The dupatta scene to me seemed more like Maan's need to challenge that statement . Right before the Dupatta scene, Maan questions "tum special ho??"; as if to say you are only special cuz of what I feel for you. He shows the same by drawing her closer. At the same time, I sensed a need in him to prove a point, to show her that she is affected by his proximity too in much the same way he is by hers. This is why he lets go of the dupatta and doesnt touch her at her, waits for her to realise it.

3. I think Geet's amazing ability to completely rattle Maan should be blamed for why Maan didnt let her the truth about Dadi for so long! And when she did reveal it, its almost as if he can't believe she is that ignorant, thus his appeal to leave. Almost as if he doesnt want to tell her, because he wants to solve this issue between them, without getting Dadi involved.

Im sorry for the long rambling post, Im a silent reader but just thought id share my POV. I love Maneet and just thought that like all epis todays too was rather symbolic!

Btw, did you notice when Geet said to Maan, "Sir aap baith jaiyee, Maan actually started to sit down" and then after some time when Maan realized what he was doing he said "nehin baithoonga"

...Oh God that scene was hilarious... 🤣

Most of the shows do not have logic and taking advice of Buggy, I actually removed my critical shades before watching yesterday's episode. But, everything was so blatantly out of order for me, that I just could not ignore anything. Has Geet forgotten to carry her brains to the outhouse? How can she even think that Mann landed in the bedroom just because her quitting job has affected him … and this is the same girl who was handling a project without any qualification. Does the creative have the liberty to kill a character's thinking just to create a funny scene that does not add anything to the story?

I heard Mann say "Oye" … I do not except him to say that plus the way he was throwing her and the luggage out … not at all suited his personality. There were bloopers galore as Bugger said but my main problem is with the whole execution and the dialogues given to the characters. I did not enjoy much Thursday's episode too as it did not add anything to the story, but it was neatly executed and did not look in disorder … the dialogues were fine too. The same cannot be said about yesterday. The only scene that I liked was when revelation happens about Dadi Ma.

My views and I have no intention of hurting anyone who loved the episode. 😊
