Heylooooo all! 🤗
I'm back with my weekend post! 😃 Though this one is also kinda serious like the one I posted last week, I promise I'll try to put up a "Geet Lessons" post as well. 😉
So, janaas and jaanus, I assume many of you are wearing oxygen masks after watching the rain scene! 😉 😳 I was about to do the same as well, but GEet's inner turmoil while hugging Maan somehow slowed down my heartbeat. That scene just doesn't fit my definition of 'hot'...drenched Maan excluded. ☺️
Yes, the sight of Maan, wet in the rain, the black shirt clinging to that chiselled body...ah...😍 The only thing I wished to complain about to the CVs was the colour of his shirt...I'd have preferred him wearing a white cotton shirt that becomes transparent when wet 😉 ☺️ But of course, the shower scene later made up for that...*sigh*
She didn't hug him because she wanted to, but she dd it as she sought solace in the one person's arms she knew she would find her comfort. The rain managed to camouflage her tears, but the pain in her eyes didnot escape his notice.
I'm sure all of us have noted the recent change in Maan's attitude, and this changed Maan's heart ached when he saw her pain. We saw a man devoid of his initial insensitivity and arrogance as he watched her stand in the rain. I felt that perhaps someone had stolen his akad along with his car tyres! 😉 😆
He is literally smitten with her, as he so boldly proved the existence of his "dil" by eating so many green chillies. The poor guy, I was expecting that he would perhaps like teekha, owing to his attitude. I don't know why, I always thought he would be a big fan of green chillies.
Yes, so coming back to the point, it was very unusual for him to act like that. And frankly, seeing the oh-so-sophisticated Maan Singh Khuraana cringe at the sight of the waiter bringing the water for him with his fingers dipped insude the liquid was hilarious to say the least. He was outraged and shocked out of his wits at the very sight. (And let me tell you, the person writing this post 😉 echoes his thoughts and sentiments. I personally love dhaba food, but such a sight generally ruins my appetite. )
And as if the mirchi wasn't enough, he even got up to dance bhangra. Wow. He looked so completely lost in her, I had the urge to go and snap my fingers in front of his face to break his trance. 😆
And finally, the rain scene. I won't call it hot, neither will I say it was romantic. But if anything, it finally brought to the fore Maan's care for Geet.
A change in her expression was all it took for him to voice his concern. As she hugged him tightly, and he, hesitantly put his arms around her, we saw a man desperate to sheild her from all sorrow, to take away her pain and protect her. It was instinctive, and he didn't give a second thought before enclosing her in his embrace. ☺️
More than loving, I saw it as a gesture of care, compassion and protection. He cares. And even if while under a spell, he proved it. 😳
Love always,
Khushboo. 😳
P.S. - Those who don't have anything nice to say, please don't even bother talking here.
